My husband and I spent two nights at le clos de Mai during our first driving tour of France. The B&B is in a lovely house with easy street parking, conveniently located near the train station, and about 5-10 minute walk from the city center. Both rooms are up several flights of stairs, we stayed in the Caramel room, which... More

This is our third year we have been back to Yves and Claudine and we look forward to it every time. The rooms are spacious, beds very good and bathroom facilities excellent. Claudine and Yves take the time to sit with us at breakfast to answer any questions and help with travel planning. No request is too much trouble and... More

Thank you so much Yves and Claudine for a wonderful stay! Absolutely gorgeous home with two such welcoming, friendly and caring hosts (who even helped us with maps and planning our trip!). They are very special people and we thoroughly enjoyed our short time staying here. And a great location for exploring the very beautiful Dinan! All in all, it... More

This is an in-town B & B, with several rooms upstairs and off-street parking. Like other houses on the quiet street, a high fence and gate give Le Clos de Mais an extra measure of privacy and reserve. Our third floor room was spacious, clean and well-appointed. We appreciated the high ceilings, in-room tea pot, tea bags and coffee, spacious... More

We stayed at this wonderful B&B for 4 nights in May. Yves and Claudine were wonderful hosts. The room was lovely and spacious and the breakfast superb, especially Claudine's delicious crepes. Yves and Claudine made us feel very welcome and our chats at breakfast were a highlight. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. Location perfect. Easy walk into Dinan.

Claudine and Yves, I'm so sorry! It took me ten months to write this review. We'll be in Provence this month and I have to share this experience in Dinan, Brittany. It was excellent! Very nice house, great breakfasts; moreover, Claudine and Yves tolerated the smell of 100 pounds of the Livarot cheese we carried with us and ... my... More

You won't ask for more! What a warm welcome. Claudine and Yves made us feel like family or old friends right from Yves' open arm welcome on their doorstep. Beautifully appointed and carefully tended rooms, thoughtfully prepared breakfasts and lots of local assistance, but above all the most caring and welcoming hosts you will find. We were sorry to leave... More

We followed the reviews and were in no way disappointed! From arrival to departure, Claudine and Yves treat us like family, showing genuine hospitality and taking time for conversation and to provide guidance. The property is set in a peaceful residential area. It is spotlessly clean, warm, characterful and within reasonable walking distance of the centre of town. The railway... More

Everything was perfect for our two-night stay. The room was clean and roomy, the street was quiet, private parking behind their gate was easy, and Claudine and Yves were incredibly kind and helpful. They claimed their English wasn't very good, but we were not convinced - they conversed with us very well (which was good, since we don't speak French!).... More

We stayed here for one night on our way to Southern Brittany. What a lovely place! A very warm welcome from Claudette and Yves. We are a family of four with 2 daughters and we had Caramel room with an extra bed. It was superb. Just what we needed. A lovely house, with lovely decor and very welcoming hosts! Le... More
