Attractive hotel in pleasant riverside location on a busy road. A short stroll into Port Launay, or a brisk half hour walk into Chateaulin.
Once you venture inside the Bon Accueil the disappointment may begin to set in. A constant stream of passing trade in August pulled up at the place, read the menu and had a look around, but most, if not all then drove off.
We booked a standard double room with shower for a four night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. We thought we had probably been given their worst room. There seemed to be very few other guests. The room was small and shabby, and the shower room was not too pleasant. The window looked into the car park and a very high shrubby bank. There were only net curtains, no proper curtains. When the window was opened there was a very unpleasant smell, which could have had something to do with the broken sewer pipe at ground level.
