We stayed in Abalys with our two grown up daughters on July 2014. We have reserved two rooms, but on arriving the owners suggested that we take an apartment instead for the same price. The apartment was very spacious and pleasant. We were only sorry we stayed for only one night. The hotel lends bicycles for free. Very nice people,... More

The hotel is located very central: 10min. walk to the train-station, 5min. walk to the main bus and tram intersection and 15min. to the port. The reception was excellent. There were no questions left. A lot of information was provided. The room was a little bit small. The isolation against the outside noise was excellent. The breakfast was worth the... More

I hope not... Because this is what people want. It is small and simple but beautiful and welcoming. Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location with walking distance to everything in the city. Stay here and explore Brest and Finistere for as long as you can,,, Enjoy!

Great hotel! Fanny (spelling?) from the reception was very welcoming and nice. She was able to give my sister and I a room upgrade and the room was absolutely amazing! Large bed, large room, large windows and large bathroom! plenty of room, we were very spoiled! great location, walking distance to all restaurants and shops. parking was a bit of... More

We are a military family and stayed at the hotel for 47 days while we were moving (Oct 2013-Nov 2013). We started out in the apartment (two pictures are of the apartment) and then were moved to other rooms because of our extended time. We had an excellent stay - the staff are very nice, helpful, and the location is... More

We had an excellent stay in this hotel. Clean and cheap. Nice and helpful staff. The room was large, bed a bit old but still ok. A lot restaurants around. The breakfast in fine for the price and they serve very early.

Return to the hotel Abalys. This time in room 307 which is far bigger than the last room. In fact this is a spacious suite with lounge looking out over to the mer d'Iroise. I was worried about this because of the busy road below but I needn't have been as the large double windows are double glazed and very... More

Our second extended stay here in the past two years, I can highly recommend it. Right in the center of Brest, it's about 2 blocks from Rue de Siam and Rue Jean Jaures (where the best shops tend to be located) and next to the SNCF train terminal, yet there is no traffic noise. The hotel faces a park and... More

Booked for participation in a conference in Brest. Got a huge newly renovated appartment for 79€ pr night, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen available, free wifi, 3 tvs, large bathroom. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful in everything from looking up bus schedules, printing tickets and generally helping out. Good breakfast available for only 6€. Will definitively book... Despite having booked 3 months in advance, the hotel did not have my reservation in their system. However, I have no complaints about the way this was resolved: I was told, had no room been available, that still would have looked after me as it was their error. Such things do happen, but the response speaks volumes. I ended up... More
