We stayed here as guests of a very good friend of ours who invited 16 friends and family with 8 additional child guests for a celebration 40th birthday week. Le Gohic was perfect we occupied 4 of the 5 houses in the tiny hamlet. It was like an adventure park for the children with the pool, trampoline, swings etc but... More

As per the other reviews, the hamlet is very picturesque and the houses well-equipped although we did have a few problems with TV reception (bit of an issue as it was Wimbledon and World Cup!). We basically took over the whole place with each family having their own house and then meeting up outside on the terraces when the weather... More

Many thanks for the review. Readers might also want to bear in mind that the roads are very scenic and have very little traffic - except near the coast in the high season. (And all TV glitches are fully resolved ... ) More

Just home from a week at the beautiful Le Gohic gites. Thank you to Lucile (and Ruth in her absence!) for welcoming us. We stayed in La Marie with family friends (there were 4 of us adults + 3 children) and we had more than enough space and never felt on top of each other. The grounds are lovely and... More

Just got back from a week at Le Gohic staying at La Marie cottage - It was perfect for us with our family of 4 (children ages 4 and 2) plus both sets of Grandparents. The Gite itself was amazing, really clean and had everything you would need plus a lot more. The gites are set in beautiful countryside each... More

We just returned from two weeks in L'Ecurie cottage. I gave the property a "very good" rating for our stay in May 2011. It definitely deserves an "excellent" rating now. The new owners have settled in and continue to provide excellent accommodations. Rather than rewrite my review of last year, you can read it in the list below. I believe... More

We stayed at Le Cidre in September 2012. The property has real charm, was excellently appointed and comfortable. Set in beautiful countryside. This was our first visit to Brittainy. Lucille was an excellent host: helped us with any questions and sorted out an appointment with a local vet for our dog. You can have croissants and bread delivered every morning... More

We have just returned from two fantastic weeks staying in l'Écurie, Le Gohic. (two adults, one 12 year old and one small dog.) We first stayed in this hamlet of six houses in 2004, I don't know why it took us so long to return. The new owners Lucile and Barry made us feel very welcome and were on hand... More

8 of us, Grandma,Grandad,Mum,Dad and our 4 girls ( 11, 10, 4 and 2 ) stayed in La Mairie for 2 weeks in June. Everyone was extremely happy, in fact, although the weather was unseasonably wet, none of us wanted our holiday to end . Our girls especially loved the den, hanging out with friends they made, playing table football,... More

This was one of the best properties we've ever stayed in. We've been traveling extensively for 10 years and have stayed in a lot of gites (self catering cottages). The cottage actually exceeded the web site description. Wonderful sweeping views of the countryside from the kitchen, dining room and living room. Since I love to cook it was great to... More

We stayed in Le Cidre for a week in September. It couldn't have been more charming and comfortable. The property is beautiful and peaceful. I kept wishing we had visited Le Gohic when our children were younger. There is so much to do with a beautiful pool, activity room, lots of games, etc. It would be a great place for... More
