I stayed for two nights and I paid almost 117 euro per night. The breakfast was about 10.50 euro if it is not included in your reservation. 1- The location is good on old town, almost close to everything and walking distance to sight seen like cathedral and down town 2- They have a garage, but the entrance was so... A friend and I spent two nights at the Bristol before a walk on the Camino de Santiago. Its positives were a central location not far from the station and friendly staff. However a very cramped room with a retro-fit bathroom, a loo that required flushing three times to achieve the required result, and light switches that did not work... More

This hotel was a good overnight stop - it had a garage for which they didn't charge, a garden to drink a cool beer, comfortable rooms and most importantly friendly and polite staff. It is conveniently situated for the old town. I'd definitely stay there again.

When you arrive at this hotel the outside looks rather shabby but the rooms are clean and bright and our 'comfort' room at the back was quiet and overlooked the courtyard. The entrance to the garage is extremely narrow (just got our Peugeot 5008 in very slowly). It's a short walk to the city centre so could not have asked... More

We arrived without reservations at this hotel and to give them credit the reception was friendly and the stay was fine.... but, this is an old hotel and all the facilities are rather tired and dated. Nothing special here and a typical old, small and rather dismal room. The best feature was the quite reasonable French Style breakfast and the... More

I stayed here with my Daughter on a whistlestop Motorcycle tour of Europe. The hotel was very clean, staff very friendly and welcoming. We speak French so I can't vouch for their reception towards not French speaking Brits. They were very helpful and let me park my Motorbike in the garage overnight free of charge. The food was excellent and... More

This was our first stop on the French 'Way of St. James' walk. The hotel is in a good location, a short walk from the old town and the Cathedral. Food in the restaurant was good, as was the wine. We even had duvets on the bed. Very rare in rural France.

All staff were friendly and courteous (especially the knowledgeable and enthusiastic waiter). The reception, restaurant and communal areas were good, but the rooms were incredibly basic. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment so it's a quite messy and noisy with decorators working throughout. The breakfast was average, no-one to restock items that had run out. There was no hot water for... More

Busy location on the ring road but rooms at the back are quiet. Access to the garage is through a narrow doorway so suitable for small cars only. Efficient restaurant geared to business travellers so flexible around courses and quick turnover. But be warned - outside the old town Le Puy is busy and scruffy with shifty-looking characters hanging around... More

This is a charming hotel with very basic rooms: clean, quiet and fairly priced. Only complaint would be the thermostat can only be controlled by the front desk so you have to call down every time you are hot or cold --- and they don't give you the number to the front desk upon check-in so it took 2-3 times...
