The strenght of this Ibis is its good location for visiting Le Puy. This Ibis is a franchise and needs a 'de-stuffing', ie a modernisation. The employees (owners) should be a bit more friendly. They should also make sure that their personnel recognises the sign DO NOT DISTURB before barging into a room early morning.

The reception staff were very professional and helpful. However the room was quite small and could have benefited from provision of a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities; also, as the summer climate is hot, a fridge with cold drinks or provision for guests to store their own cold drinks would be helpful. Excellent location, free safe parking, friendly and helpful staff, adequate restaurant,and small bar, reasonable price for high tourist period. Its location is ideal for visiting the impressive sites of Le Puy and hotel staff provided a good local map with some useful hints thrown in

We had a problem finding this hotel. Some confusion about which hotel we had booked. It seems that there were 2 Ibis hotels in Le Puy but one of them is now another Accor brand. Confusing!
