Pretty awful location, on a busy main road next to a flyover. Private car park, but not secure. Could be tricky to find without a nav system. Rooms are on the small side and bathrooms a masterpiece of nano-design. Restaurant is very basic for dinner, and really quite poor value - IBIS restaurants are usually pretty good, but this one... more

Hard to find? Not now when you can punch the address into a GPS navigator like a Tom Tom Go. Good value hotel situated in outskirts of Clermont Ferrand, France and pretty convenient for North / South Motorways. Great view of Puy de Dome in distance from the front of the hotel. A very basic accommodation not located downtown. Was very hard to find arriving by car from western France into Clermont Ferrand. Small double room & very small "modular" bathroom with shower only. Free parking in front of hotel. (Highway numbers in France are not often displayed and frequently change. Also streets in cities change names every few blocks! Even when... more
