We stayed here for one night in August 2014 whilst in the Dordogne. Having read some mixed reviews we weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised and would definitely make a return visit. On arrival the receptionist was welcoming although not exactly 'gushing'. A lift made it easy to get luggage to our rooms on the 2nd... More

This is a rather average and dated hotel with a good location in downtown Perigueux. Where they excel, however, is in exceptionally bad customer service. I stayed at the Bristol in June as part of guide training for our Tour de France tours. I reserved a room at the hotel to overnight July 25th in preparation for the TDF stage.... More

We stayed here for just one night, on our way from the Perigord to the Loire Valley. Our only difficulty was that the day of arrival, a Saturday, coincided with the arrival in Perigueux of the penultimate leg of the Tour de France, which made our entry into the city from the south almost impossible. After some fruitless attempts to... More

We stayed in this town centre hotel for one night on our homeward route through France. The parking is great, the welcome very good, the rooms a good size and comfortable, the shower looked newly refurbished, clean and roomy. We could walk easily into the old town for shopping and eating and there were helpful recommendations from the hotel. Breakfast... More

It was an easy walk from the train station and into the old part of the city. The staff was courtesy and the breakfast was plentiful(though we believe two in our party got sick from the wrapped cheeses - old). There is a lift, the bathroom was very nice and room was a good size for three persons with good... More

Bristol hotel is only a 10 minutes walk from the old town centre, and has nice and comfortable rooms, with A/C, very nice furniture and a mini-bar. The car park is limited, so if you want your car to be off the street, you better come early. But, they offered to put my motorcycle in their own private car park... More

This hotel is among the best we have stayed in during many years of French holidays. Not only were the rooms clean and comfortable we were amazed that everything in the room was in good condition and worked perfectly. There was plenty of hot water, a good shower and bath and the bathroom was well appointed. The location was great,... More

We arrived around midnight, after a very long day on the road. The woman (manager-owner whose name I missed), was very gracious in helping us get to our room quickly, letting us wait until morning to register/check-out. We only stayed one night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was basic, but a good value. Overall,... More

From the outside, this hotel looks like a box and quite depressing. But the room had a wonderful little feel to it and was most comfortable. Shower exceptional and bed very comfortable. English news channel. Hosts were so friendly and helpful and let us check in way before check in time which can be so nice when you need it... More
