Spacious rooms, very clean and well appointed. Staff and owner very nice and helpful. Also well located, walking distance to places of historic interest, the old city, cathedral and all the restaurants as well. A very good stay . Michel Avon Australia

We were in Perigueux last weekend and stayed at the Bristol for two nights. We were pleased with the air-conditioned and fairly spacious room, the renovated bathroom, good size flat-screen TV and proximity to the center. The mattresses could be replaced, they were definitely not hotel quality. Our main issue was that upon arrival, we were informed that our room... More

This will never be a destination hotel but provides a quiet air conditioned room at a reasonable price in a good location for seeing this lovely town. There is a free car-park but don't expect a space if you arrive late. The room was clean, adequate and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was fine. In summary:- nobody is going to reminisce... More

We stayed here for one night in August 2014 whilst in the Dordogne. Having read some mixed reviews we weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised and would definitely make a return visit. On arrival the receptionist was welcoming although not exactly 'gushing'. A lift made it easy to get luggage to our rooms on the 2nd... More

This is a rather average and dated hotel with a good location in downtown Perigueux. Where they excel, however, is in exceptionally bad customer service. I stayed at the Bristol in June as part of guide training for our Tour de France tours. I reserved a room at the hotel to overnight July 25th in preparation for the TDF stage.... More

We stayed here for just one night, on our way from the Perigord to the Loire Valley. Our only difficulty was that the day of arrival, a Saturday, coincided with the arrival in Perigueux of the penultimate leg of the Tour de France, which made our entry into the city from the south almost impossible. After some fruitless attempts to... More

We stayed in this town centre hotel for one night on our homeward route through France. The parking is great, the welcome very good, the rooms a good size and comfortable, the shower looked newly refurbished, clean and roomy. We could walk easily into the old town for shopping and eating and there were helpful recommendations from the hotel. Breakfast... More

It was an easy walk from the train station and into the old part of the city. The staff was courtesy and the breakfast was plentiful(though we believe two in our party got sick from the wrapped cheeses - old). There is a lift, the bathroom was very nice and room was a good size for three persons with good... More

Bristol hotel is only a 10 minutes walk from the old town centre, and has nice and comfortable rooms, with A/C, very nice furniture and a mini-bar. The car park is limited, so if you want your car to be off the street, you better come early. But, they offered to put my motorcycle in their own private car park... More
