We have spend 2 nights in the Hotel de Gramont. We had chosen the family suite which was perfectly suited for us. The double windows made sure that we had two vert quiet night. Further the staff was polite and friendly. The breakfast was fine without locally sourced ingredients. It might not have been the most impressive breakfast I ever... More

I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling through, as we were. The staff is very hospitable, the rooms are nice, and they have a very nice spread for breakfast. If you are staying for more than a few days, it would also be a nice place to stay. They are situated in the middle of Pau, and are... More

Just what we wanted and they found us a huge family room sort of in the basement but with views over a sort of garden. The hotel is "normal" at street level but goes down 2 or more floors. It looks from the pictures to have bags of personality - but it is a standard sort of hotel but non... More

twowheeltours stayed at Hotel de Gramont in 2013 during a cycling tour in combination with the Haute Route Pyrenees cyclosportif. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the staff is great (speaking perfect English) and the cold/continental breakfast buffet was substantial. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

The location is good in the city, central, near everything downtown. Regarding the hotel, I would say that I was quite disappointed by the room which was really small (for the price). The breakfast was a good surprise with fresh fruits!

Typical Euro hotel with nice but small rooms, which were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to all needs (we had bikes to store). Staff spoke some english but not much. Breakfast was included in the Travel Grp I was with and was excellent, our best breakfast of the week. Had A/C which was a big... More

I only stayed for 1 night as was driving to Spain from UK. This is a good stop off point close to the Pyrenees. Parking was right in front of the hotel, which was perfect. Nice room overlooking square with fountain. The room itself was a bit tired but very comfortable and a bit shabby chic, in a nice way.... More

I was a little started when told my room was one level below ground, but found I had a delightful view: Pau is a city of remarkable hillsides! My room was very spacious and the furnishings were lovely. The staff -- I had several conversations with 3 different people -- was more than gracious and happy to speak French though... More

I really like this hotel. I've stayed here on a number of occaisions now. The staff dont speak a huge amount of english, but enough so that everything was understood, and they have always been very friendly and helpful. It's in a beautiful part of the town, and it's great for an evening wander to one of the many restaurants... More

This hotel is a typical European hotel. Each room is different and relatively small. The stay was very quiet. The elevator was small, like in many French hotels. The staff was pleasant - they spoke only a little English. Breakfast was expensive (as is typical in France), so I did not eat at the hotel. The hotels was very close... More
