In a great location in the town by the central square looking over the river with free parking at the side of hotel, rooms are a little small but our window at the front looked over the main square and was lovely. Staff were very well turned out and very professional, however we probably prefer a personable less formal approach.... More

What a lovely hotel this is! Our room was charming, very comfortable and clean! The staff was very accommodating. We arrived near or after midnight. The young man at the front desk had waited for us and then helped us to our room. The next morning, the breakfast was good and the coffee delicious! The village of Les Eyzies-de-Tayac is... More

The location of this hotel, set between the massive limestone cliff and the river, is superb. We stayed only one night and found the rooms - we saw two on the top floor - very small and basic. On the plus side the dinner was well cooked and nicely presented, but the maitre'd refused to substitute one coffee for two... More

We had two nights at the hotel , central to les Eyzies, watching Cro -Magnon man , a statue in the museum, high above the Main Street. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient . The rooms we had were east facing ( at the back) and much cooler than other side, above the outdoor restaurant , had everything... More

Great location under the gaze of Cro-Magnon man statue which is part of the National Museum of Pre-history. Friendly welcome from reception, thank you Jerome, clean and comfortable room. We find those French bathrooms bizarre where they have a shower unit but it's not attached to the wall. Why not have a bracket on the wall so you don't need... More

This place is located on the city square with a lovely terrace near the river. The room was a bit small and the bed a slightly lumpy double. Decor and style lovely and meals OK. The hotel itself is obviously a classic old building , nicely decorated.

The staff was very outgoing and congenial and led me to my room before 11:30 am the day I arrived. The hotel is in the middle of the small town of Les Eyzies and roughly 15 minutes' walk to the train station or 20 minutes' walk to the entrance of Font du Gaume. Lots of patisseries and coffee shops are... More

This corner of France is absolutely enchanting. I found this hotel on Trip Advisor and fussed about where to stay since I was traveling solo. I always try to double check my travel dates, however messed up this time. I arrived a day later than my reservation. The wonderful hotel manager did not charge me for my mistake. Great locale.... Here you are in the centre of Les Eyzies, a real tourist trap. So I did not believe that a genuine, family-run business could exist and would be offering good value for money. I was wrong. We went there for lunch in between visiting Font de Gaume and Les Combarelles. The food was excellent. When we told the staff that... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location next to the river and museum. Room was quite small and in need of redecoration / modernisation. I fear the bed had either fleas or mites as I awoke very badly bitten in the morning.
