We (father, two teenage kids) had a most memorable stay at Moulin de la Beune in beautiful Les Eyzies village: a charming hotel location almost under an old road archway that is part of the main village street, and tucked next to a lovely running stream with water wheel. The rustic ambience (with rose creepers and nice trees) was very... More

Cozy charm in this secret spot in Les Eyzies De Tayac. Don't expect luxurious, spacious rooms. Instead, open yourself to French country charm. (It's all about the food and the dolce vita, baby!) no TV in the room bothered me at first but why let the outside world in? Instead, let the pleasant sound of the mill stream make you... More

My husband, son, and I stayed here in late July and were extremely pleased with the room, the hotel, the restaurant, and the fact that our room had air conditioning when the temps were above 90 degrees F! I don't know if all the rooms had air conditioning, but Room 9 did. Our room was large, with two comfortable double... More

My wife and I have spent several stays here over the years. The Moulin is a favorite of ours. the restaurant is excellent, the sounds of the mill stream through the window at night, the friendliness of the staff, al, will keep us coming back

Three of us stayed here for a couple of nights in June and loved it. The ivy-covered old mill site, water running everywhere, beautiful grounds - it was charming. Both of our rooms were the same - toilet in a separate room from the tub/shower/sink; comfy double bed, dresser, table and chair. Older style furniture, gorgeous old window with shutters... More

Very nice small friendly hotel to stay at. Agnes / Annick very helpful. Rooms very nice in a really picturesque setting. Wouldn't recommend eating there - the associated Restaurant is pricey and the waiter we found rather arrogant. If you want a good value-for-money restaurant, try Mentalo round the corner (best pizza we've had in France).

This hotel beats the socks off all the others in Les Eyzies. It is a quaint old building located down along the stream, with an old mill wheel still turning. Very romantic setting! The rooms tend to be small, but #16 and #20 are very comfortable, and offer cross-venting windows. More and more of the rooms are air-conditioned (#20 was,... More

We did not stay at this hotel but had dinner twice in their restaurant, which was excellent. There is no shortage of hotels or restaurants in this tiny town so the fact that we had dinner there twice in 6 nights says a lot. The food was superb; the staff is wonderful, very accommodating, helpful with our choices of wine... More

Having booked more than 1 month in advance, we were surprise to have received the worst room in the place. It may have been because we were only staying one night on our last day of biking in the Dordogne and we were not 55+ like all the other clientele! While the room was clean, it was very small, with... More

We ate in the restaurant here on 10th September 2012 and found it to be superb. They offer a set menu option (3 course) starting at €19 per person, which we considered to be excellent value considering the quality of food on offer, which was delicious. We found the staff to be friendly and attentive, if a little slow at... More
