There are not that many hotels to chose from in Bergerac, but we think we did alright by staying here. It is well located over-looking Gambetta Square which hosts market days on a Wednesday and Saturday. Our front-facing room had a large bed and sufficient wardrobe space but didn’t leave too much standing space. Fortunately, the balcony allowed us somewhere... More

Very disappointing stay at so-called 3* horel. ?New receptionist showed me to a pleasant room, then told me I could not have it as it was reserved! It wasn't, but the manager told me I had been given the alternative room as a Booking.com customer - ie a second-class citizen! Bathroom in need of refurbishment, tiny shower head, toilet cystern... This hotel was selected as part of our cycling tour. It is the only hotel I've seen that is closed between 11-3 pm due to staff shortage. I am not sure if that's temporary or not. The hotel staff are absolutely charming and the location provides very easy access to all points in old town. Enjoy a leisurely evening stroll!... More

I needed to stay overnight in Bergerac and chose this hotel which is a few minutes walk from the old part of the town. It was a good choice. A quiet room overlooking the rear courtyard and pool suited me well. Everything was clean , efficient and working. Parking is easy - right in front. I will stay there again.

After 8 hour train journey this was a charming little unexpected stopover due to air traffic controllers strike . Typical of small family run establishment - we love their quirkiness!! Friendly greeting - comfortable room - Bregerac is pretty little town . No breakfast as had to leave 7.00 for ( at last !!) flight home would stay again

If you want to, or have to stay in Bergerac, consider this place. Our "garden-view" room was very quiet. It was rather small, but was equipped with a large bed. Location is good, five minutes walk to the historic town center and less than 15 minutes to the banks of Dordogne river. Staff was friendly and rates were OK.

Stayed here because everywhere else was full. Now I know why this place wasn't. I have no idea why it is reviewed so well. It really shouldn't be. In hindsight I would have stayed in a different town rather than have a room here. The reception area smells dirty, the rooms are dated beyond belief and there was an inch... More

Great hotel, perfect location on the outskirts of the old town, rooms very clean and beds comfortable. Really helpful owner - arranged airport pick up and got our room ready early. Nice pool area, good breakfast. Recommended

I agree with everything the previous reviewer said so won't repeat it all. Only quibble is the hard-ish beds which might suit some. The hotel is near the beautiful Notre Dame church, close to shops, restaurants, bars, the narrow 'walking streets' that lead down to the river with lots of shops & restaurants plus the interesting food market. There's a... More

Great people, great town and great hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was lovely, clean, quiet and had a nice view of the pool and garden. Location is excellent. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty to choose from with some local produce, really enjoyed it. Also appreciated the staff speaking English when needed.
