Christophe and Anne were the perfect hosts and so welcoming. The ostal is a b & b set in a large, delightful garden with a swimming pool and badminton and we had a wonderful evening picnic there, being too tired to go out. Breakfast was utterly delicious with homemade jams and pastries to go with the croissants and baguette to... More

My fiance and I stayed in Ostal De Pombonne during our recent trip Bergerac. Anne could not have been a nicer more accomodating hostess! Our room was "rustic chic" with the most comfortable bed I have slept in a long while! The best part about the room was the fact that it had its own seperate door to the outside... More

My wife and I stayed three nights here meeting up with two friends from our home town. If there is one word to describe our stay it has to be 'superb'. First Ostel is not a hotel, it is more a b&b but a very special type of b&b. It has only four rooms in a converted 'old' house ours... More

This bed and breakfast is perfectly located a short distance from Bergerac - perfect for exploring the local Pecharmant appellation. From the moment you arrive at l'ostel de pombonne you feel so welcome. My boyfriend and I have never visited the area and thoroughly enjoyed exploring vineyards on bikes from the B&B. We have eaten so incredibly well and the... More

Anne welcomed us and was very nice and extremely helpful . The room was amazing- large, with an excellent bed, tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was great, fresh fruit ,yogurt, homemade jams and jellies and delicate little cakes from the region as well as croissants, bread, cheese, and ham. Private parking, swimming pool etc. We enjoyed our stay and hope to... More

This was our first stop on our European trip with two small children in June last year. We were so happy that we made it here. Anne and Cristophe were so welcoming and made everything so easy - they even went beyond the call of duty driving us to a local Doctor when one of my girls got sick. And... More

Hosts Anne and Christophe made us feel at home right away. We arrived after a long days journey and had a little trouble finding the place. They were so gracious and welcoming. Our room was on the second floor. It had a unique design and everything seemed very newly done. The bed was excellent for two. We slept very well.... More

Recently stayed here for a birthday weekend and everything was brilliant. The 2 owners were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, even going to the trouble to try and find us a place in the small town of Bergerac to watch the rugby! The room was beautiful and had a real fire place and décor was very warm... More

Have just spent a night here and will definitely return again soon. We were made to feel very welcome and it was certainly very homely and has even given us a free ideas for interior design for our own French house. They even provided us with a basket full of logs and the breakfast was delicious with home made jams... More
