If you want to increase your confidence with conversation in French, then look no further than the Colombier Cyrano. We owe to Mme Betty probably our 3 happiest days in France so far. An enchanting guest house with a unique history and decor where you will find a warm welcome and a great base for getting to know Bergerac, its... More

I would recommand this place to anybody visiting Bergerac and looking for authenticity and charm. We stayed for two days while organising our wedding in Bergerac. Betty, the owner, is a lovely person. She is welcoming, helpful and really friendly. Her breakfast was really healthy and the bread, to die for!... I would go back there anyday! Thank you Betty,... Only stayed here for one night but it made a very pleasant change from the impersonal big chain hotels. Lovely bedroom with terrace and great breakfast. Made to feel very welcome and enjoyed hearing about the history of the house.

We so enjoyed our experience of this historic and magical hotel full with so many interesting things. The owner, Betty, is a lovely lady who was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the room with the terrace which was delightfully quirky and also very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb with a great selection of pastries, yoghurt, fruit,... More

My husband and I stayed at this really quaint and quirky house for 3 nights in June and really enjoyed it, we had our 2 little dogs with us who were made to feel really welcome by Betty the lovely owner of the house. We stayed in the room with the terrace which in itself was also lovely with candles... More

We overnighted here on our way to pick up a VW camper van from a new outfit (www. wedubyou.com) In the heart of the old town a stone's throw from the river and the old port. This is the oldest house in town, saved from the frequent fires that beset the rest. Winding stairs, oak beams and sloping floors. The... More

Charming B&B in a wonderful location in Bergerac, close to the river. The owner, Betty, is a very interesting lady with interesting stories to tell about the place and its long history. Good breakfast, clean place.

We happened upon this wonderful b&b whilst wondering around Bergerac on a rainy day. Betty welcommed us in and made us feel like we were home from home. The property itself is extremely charming with lots of quirky features and character. The property has an interesting history which Betty shared with us over breakfast. Our room was very cosy and... We booked this B&B for an overnight stay in August 2011. We had booked the room with the terrace only to discover we couldn't have this room. Betty was very apologetic and even left a bottle of wine in our room to make up for the error. The whole place and it's history is very interesting. Quirky and quaint. Very... More

Stayed here August 2011 in upstairs beamed room with lovely terrace.Situated in a pretty square close to local bars and restaurants in the lovely old town of Bergerac. Betty is an interesting lady with a story to tell. We were greeted by soft music and a very pretty laid table each morning. Lots of coffee and lots of chat. Nothing... More
