Your first impression is correct. It is, inside and out, a very picturesque place. It has been colorfully decorated by Betty, the owner, and has lots of different inspirations. The B&B has two large rooms and a massage room (if you want to have one). All is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and varied and accompanied by Betty's story... More

We stayed at this amazing little B&B got two nights. Betty was a wonderful host and told us some great stories over breakfast each day. Our room was wonderful with a cosy terrace with hammock, great to sit and read your book after a day sight seeing in the old town. Lots to see and do and Betty's place is... More

We totally love this Chambre d'hotes. We were here in 2008 and remember having a wonderful experience the first time so made a point of coming back on our way back up to St Malo from Spain. It is unique and Betty the owner makes you feel so welcome and has fantastic stories to tell. Set in the old quarter... More

This is a lovely old house in the historic part of Bergerac, near the river. There is a lot of history in the house and it is very old, with old beams and floorboards. Betty the owner was great, welcoming us to her house and speaking good English, to make up for the fact that we can't speak French. She... More

If you want to increase your confidence with conversation in French, then look no further than the Colombier Cyrano. We owe to Mme Betty probably our 3 happiest days in France so far. An enchanting guest house with a unique history and decor where you will find a warm welcome and a great base for getting to know Bergerac, its... More

I would recommand this place to anybody visiting Bergerac and looking for authenticity and charm. We stayed for two days while organising our wedding in Bergerac. Betty, the owner, is a lovely person. She is welcoming, helpful and really friendly. Her breakfast was really healthy and the bread, to die for!... I would go back there anyday! Thank you Betty,... Only stayed here for one night but it made a very pleasant change from the impersonal big chain hotels. Lovely bedroom with terrace and great breakfast. Made to feel very welcome and enjoyed hearing about the history of the house.

We so enjoyed our experience of this historic and magical hotel full with so many interesting things. The owner, Betty, is a lovely lady who was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the room with the terrace which was delightfully quirky and also very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb with a great selection of pastries, yoghurt, fruit,... More

My husband and I stayed at this really quaint and quirky house for 3 nights in June and really enjoyed it, we had our 2 little dogs with us who were made to feel really welcome by Betty the lovely owner of the house. We stayed in the room with the terrace which in itself was also lovely with candles... More

We overnighted here on our way to pick up a VW camper van from a new outfit (www. wedubyou.com) In the heart of the old town a stone's throw from the river and the old port. This is the oldest house in town, saved from the frequent fires that beset the rest. Winding stairs, oak beams and sloping floors. The... More
