I chose this hotel because it was by far the cheapest option. Mind you, many hotels in Biarritz city centre cost +100euro rates a night! The hotel is near the beach on a busy street full of restaurants. Staff is friendly and english speaking. Rooms are small but they are clean and there is a ceiling fan when it gets... More

Just minutes from beaches and all restaurants and bars handy. The single room was very comfortable and well appointed with everything I needed. I didnt experience any noise from boy racers and despite being high season and location found noise Level not a concern. Very helpful and friendly staff who spoke fluent english. I would definitely stay here again

Prime spot! To the left is an awesome beach with 2 bars looking over the water and a diving board, and up to the right leads you to the clubs and bars. If that's not enough, there is amazing paella on both sides, gelato across the road and an endless line of boutique shops. Reception is not 24hr so when... More

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, and got a very good rate as many comparable hotel seemed to be charging double this price. Having stayed in similar style hotels before, it was certainly one of the better-value ones. The welcome was very pleasant, and the reception staff spoke excellent English. The location was very good if you wanted... More

We had the unfortunate mistake of leaving our passports plus cash in the safe at Hotel les Ailzes and then driving away for over 7 hours before realising we had forgotten them! Disaster averted by the friendly Alexis who retrieved and couriered these to us promptly the next day. We are eternally grateful to the friendly and honest staff of... More

Far cheaper than any of the other hotels on the street but we had been to Biarritz previously and paid double for a lesser hotel. This, as with most of the hotels in France, is scarily overpriced compared to the UK. In terms of its competition though it is good value for money. Was always, clean, ceiling fan kept the... More

We stayed in Biarritz for 4 nights to overcome jet lag after flying from Australia prior to heading off to St Jean Pied to Port to commence the Camino Frances. this place was perfect for that purpose. The hotel is in an excellent location and is very comfortable. On first arrival it appears a bit tired but within a short... More

I stayed here on a laid-back girls holiday with two of my friends, the hotel was so cute with an old fashioned lift and spiral staircase, and perfectly located opposite a gelato shop- make sure you visit! Our room was a decent size for the three of us, perfectly clean and had been nicely decorated. There is a safe too... More

just stayed the one night prior t o flying home. Nice welcome and helpful owners. Central location right near the beach was very good . Room compact but very clean and with all facilities so good value. Unfortunately it is on a street that is used by late night revellers and our night was disrupted from 1am to past 3... More

Excellent location, close to shops bars restaurants and the Vieux Port beach. Easy going owner on site provided details of wifi (thankfully no password to remember). Lift and vending machines for drinks. Breakfast in rooms. We were on first floor overlooking the street and it was quite noisy, hence we found a couple of nights enough . Parking in Biarritz... More
