We started here in October for one night whilst travelling through Spain andorra and France. The room was booked on line a couple of weeks earlier and was really good value in what is quite an expensive area. The hotel is perfectly located for the beach and shopping area, being a 5 minute walk away. There is an underground car... More

We booked a good room for a cheap rate so lookout for good online prices. Free parking and centrally located. The hotel may be be four stars but the restaurant is definitely worth a 5 star rating. Truly a fantastic meal paired with exquisite wine combinations. Rooms were clean and comfortable, bathroom had a jacuzzi. Free liquid soaps and shampoos... More

We paid for a superior room & what a dissapointment. I'd hate to see a regular room. Our bathroom shower was filled with black mold - looked as if it hadn't been redecorated since the 1970s. The room's carpet was cheap & old - musty smell in the room. The only Pros to this hotel was it's proximity to the... More

Great little hotel in centre of Biarritz. Close to the beach and with parking which is a real plus. We found the staff very helpful particularly when one of us had to go to the local emergency department with chest pains. The rooms were clean and new. Excellent value

Good location, in the center of the city. Some of the staff are charming but some were stingy. The double bedroom we shared my spouse and I, was too small! Less than 20sqm believe it or not. Not that im a fat man but the "double bed" was a 140cm for 2 in a 4 stars Hotel. It seemed to... More

The room was nice, with minibar, WIFI, big bathroom, separat toilett, kingsizebed and a guestbed. The hotel is good situatet just a few minuts to the grand plage biarritz and to the city. The only bad thing was, we got home at 1.00am and they had nothing to drink (alkohol) or to eat.

We booked in for 2 nights on the internet, it's hard to find with the one way systems and if you have a lot of luggage good luck, small car park to the rear, not many spaces as staff cars there, under ground car park at euro18 a day. No atmosphere, no one in the restaurant or bar, when we... More

This hotel is very central, ideal for walking along seafront to main shopping/restaurant area. The hotel is desperately in need of upgrade. Our room was large with two windows which was nice, but the carpet, furniture and fittings all old and shabby. The bathroom was very dated and the tap on the sink leaked all the time on to the... Nice central hotel with free parking. List prices are expensive but we struck a great deal and had a fabulous stay. The restaurant has great French food. It is looking a little tired but we think the price we payed made it very good value. Would definitely go there again if we ever get back.

Marketa itself as hotel at can sleep four - but the beds are doubles at best not even queens by US standards. Charging 400E for Sat night was overkill when not even a croissant was included Asked for rollaway bed so we could sleep and all we got was a request for more Euros
