Seems poorly managed. Great location but difficult to enjoy it at such an annoying hotel. Lost my laundry prior to an important dinner. Seem to have a lot of rules none of which contribute to their guests well being. more

We stayed at this beautful hotel for a big birthday celebartion in December with a group of friends. The staff were just amazing. Remi the concierge and his team fixed up all the restaurants before we arrived everyone of his recommendations were excellent. The hotel is bang in the centre of this lovely city, so sight seeing could not be... more

This is a fantastic property. It's like the Grand Dame of Bordeaux located right in the central plaza of the city. It is an old building that has been ornately redone in an oh so very French way. I loved it. The location is perfect for the Tram system. There are two within a block of the hotel. You can... more

This was 50th Birthday treat for 'er indoors, so to be frank a bit above our station- I reckoned even I should be tugging my forelock to the staff. Despite a slight hiccup at reception when they almost refused me as I didn't have the accomodation voucher, (The website I booked thru told me not to worry about the voucher... more

A friend and I stayed at the Regent Bordeaux for one night (9/7/08), in a deluxe room with 2 twin beds. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The lobby was beautiful, and the hotel bar was great. It was a bit pricey, but totally worth... more

We had a delightful weekend at this magnificently restored hotel at the heart of Bordeaux. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds, large flat screen TVs, separate toilets and bathrooms. The lobby and bar are exquisite (if, and this is certainly true of the mini-bars, somewhat overpriced) and the staff are delightful. Breakfasts were excellent. We had a great deal... more

The hotel is very elegant situated in a prime location in Bordeaux close to many areas of interest and some wonderful dining opportunities. We were travelling in a party comprising 2 adults and 2 17 year old girls occupying a double and a twin superior room on the 2nd floor. Checkin was easy and very professional, reception had no trouble... more

Hotel is in an excellant location opposite the Grand Theatre and beside Rue St Catherine. I thought the reception rooms were dark and small on the ground floor, the bars were small - it did not feel like a "grand" hotel or five star hotel. The hotel rooms were small although well equipped with Plasma (ipod dock) etc but one... more

We were very pleased with the welcome from the staff. Nothing seemed (even though they had trouble locating our booking) too much trouble. However the room was very dark and pretty much no natural light. We moved out of this room the next day beacause of the noise from the spa which they had just begun to construct. The next... more
