4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This hotel is unbeatable if you have your own car and you visit Bordeaux for a few days. The hotel is on the other side of the river, must 2 tram stops from the centre or a 20 min walk over the historic bridge Pont de Pierre. Staff is attentive and helpful. The redeveloped neighbourhood is quiet. The beds comfortable. Breakfast... More

Although this hotel is slightly out of town, over the River Garonne and a little way from the main attractions, this makes for a quiet night, but with all the facilities of the surprisingly pleasant Bastide area right on the doorstep. Having stayed in an Ibis Hotel the previous night in Bayonne, this one compared favourably, as it was modern,... More

Whilst about 5 - 10 minute walk into town, it's a lovely walk across the bridge. Carrefour next door for the bottle of wine and snacks. Very clean and worth a visit. Didn't grasp the jet bus so caught taxi to the airport. Definitely worth a stay unless you can get more central at the price.

Arrived in Bordeaux one afternoon to catch a flight the following afternoon and chose this hotel for the low price and the fact that we expected to only need to sleep during the 24 hours stay. Sleep is what the hotel is designed for and sleep it certainly promises. Nice quiet hotel, extremely comfy beds. If you're looking for a... More

This was the worst hotel we stayed in while travelling around for 6 weeks throughout Europe. Firstly the positives. Location is good if you have a car. Parking is underneath the supermarket just next door. There is a lift from the car park that takes you straight to reception. There is great pub a couple of minutes walk away that... More

This is a very new Ibis. You'll find really nice design in the lobby/bar/breakfast area and, as ever, very good use of the space in your room which isn't huge but has everything you need. Ibis are making a feature of their new beds and rightly so-the bed comes with a base (divan?), mattress and a 'topper' (another futon type... More

We stayed here in May for 4 nights and found it to be in an ideal location, and really close to the tram stations. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant area, but we did not eat there as we were always out and about and did not want to tie ourselves to having to travel back over the... More

This is a new Ibis conveniently located next to a large supermarket for supplies but on the other side of the river to the main tourist attractions in Bordeaux. To walk to the centre of Bordeaux (Place Des Quinconces) across Pont de Pierre takes about 30 mins. You can take a tram, however, you do have to change and the... More

Ibis certainly can take credit for having your sleep quality near or at the top of their list. The beds were fantastic, the best we had slept in and still the best. We had stayed at a previous Ibis in Saint Malo and had similar beds. The difference comes down to the pillows. Our previous room had the right combination... More
