A very inexpensive hotel right by Gare St Jean...so handy for train travel as well as the Airpot Transfer Bus...only you E7. The hotel is your usual IBIS Budget...but it has all you need for a quick over night staff. It's a 30+ min walk to the city centre or take a tram from the station. Lots of place to... More

I stayed for two nights in this hotel. I planned to take day-trips by train, so the location was perfect. From the airport, you can either take the direct shuttle to Gare St Jean or take the bus and then the tram. I did the latter and the tram stops right opposite the hotel. The area might not be the... Spent our last night before heading out to Gare St. Jean to begin our Camino de Santiago. Average hotel. Didn't get to explore the town but very convenient to get on the train early next morning. Only thing is we witnessed an elderly man having his man purse snatched away right in front of the hotel on our way to... More

You could actually throw a stone to Gare Saint Jean so this hotel is perfectly located for late night or early morning trains. We asked for a high room and were provided with one with nice views over the city. It is a budget hotel so not expecting much but room could have been a little cleaner and less dusty.... More

After a long and tiring flight from Australia, all I wanted was a clean comfortable bed for the night, as close as possible to the Gare St Jean because of my arthritic feet. I'm sure this is the closest. As with other Ibis Budget hotels I've stayed at, its very plain but perfectly satisfactory, and is great value for money.... More

Unfriendly and unprofessional receptionist. Left several times during check in "to ask his boss". At the end he was not able to complete the process, even though there were plenty of empty rooms. We had to find an another hotel, which was not far and was even cheaper.

Over the road from the rail station which was perfect for our one night stay. Rooms clean and bright with everything needed. Great value for money! 15 minute walk to centre or plenty of buses and the tram to take you there.

My PA booked this hotel instead of the Ibis - not a mistake to be repeated. Uncomfortable bed Airless room Tiny bathroom with poor shower 1990s speed internet If you are a student looking for a cheep hotel in a decent location this is the hotel for you. Families, business people - probably not!

Only recommend those who needs to stay close to the train station as it is located just across the station entrance. Nothing fancy as this is just a budget graded hotel. Unless you are going to eat a lot, you should get better breakfast inside the station. The only shortfall is the flimsy mattress.

Hotel wasn't that flash but it is budget so I was ok with that. Situated next to what I think was a homeless shelter type thing so a lot of homeless hanging around outside the hotel which as a solo female traveller I sometimes found a bit intimidating. Other than that it's really close to train station and is a... More
