We stayed at Une Chambre En Ville for the first two nights of our honeymoon. The building is located about 200 meters from the square where the airport shuttle drops you of. The location is right in the centre of Bordeaux but it is located down a beautiful side street that is quiet and full of beautiful antique shops and... more

We stayed in the top floor of 'Le Duplex' apartment, it might be a little warm in Summer, but there's an air cooling unit provided. Not a problem for us, but it was up 69 stairs - so that might be an issue for the less able bodied. But we were made very welcome and the attention to detail was... more

We found this B & B on tripadvisor and although I had found a hotel cheaper further out I felt that this place would be more central. I was not disappointed as when you get off the airport bus you stroll 200 yds down to Une Chambre en Ville. Each room has a theme and ours was the nautical one.... more

A wonderful getaway nestled in downtown Bordeaux. I reserved one night here for my boyfriend and I, having read many positive reviews online, and went to see the hotel a week or so before our stay. The owner greeted me warmly, remembered my reservation, and accommodated my request for a specific room (I'd looked at the website and decided the... more

We booked one of the suites which are a very good size and excellent value. Very clean and tidy, with windows over looking the street. In a great location to get around easily. more

This is a fantastic place to stay in Bordeaux. The rooms are generously sized, immaculate, and very quiet, and are priced quite reasonably. The location is central, just some 150 meters from the Place Gambetta where the navette from Bordeaux airport will drop you and pick you up for a fraction of what a taxi would charge. You are also... more

This is a small place but very very central. It has 2 suites which are worth the extra 10 euros. You can come and go as you please, the breakfast is excellent and the two guys who run it are really friendly and helpful. Really comfortable, nice furnishings, very clean. Thoroughly recommended. more

I spent several days at Une Chambre en Ville in September. The location, just outside the elegantly appointed medieval center of Bordeaux , with pedestrian streets, shops, restaurants, and cafes, was ideal. It is on a quiet street filled with antiques shops, but two blocks from a leafy square bordered with restaurants and an old gate to the ciity. Through... more
