Hotel is very well localized, near to a tramway station, magazines and restaurants. Staff speaks english very well but they will not wait for you to check-in: if you will arrive after 8pm, they will leave your keys inside the hotel and if you are lucky you will find another guest entering to open the door to you. There is... More

We stayed here for 4 days. Excellent central location. Only problem was the stairs. We had heavy luggage and didn't realise 2nd floor was actually the 3rd floor. Have stayed in French hotels before so understand the older ones won't have a lift. Very small room and very hot but adequate for our purposes. Comfortable bed but tiny shower. It... More

My sister and I stayed at this really nice hotel in Bordeaux in May. Above all the location of this hotel is fantastic. Near the centre and easy to find. The team at the front desk were very welcoming and gave us useful information about the sites and city. We liked the room, there was plenty of space for us... More

Central access to the heart of Bordeaux right off the main thoroughfare making for a pleasant stay. Amazing shopping & dining surround this property. Museums, parks and landmarks are all within walking distance. Friendly staff. Small but charming room. We were on the top floor, no elevator but stairs are good for your health! Room came with a fan (which... More

Good choice for a accomodation in Bordeaux.Estabelecimento very well located with cafes, markets, boutiques nearby. Environment clean, organized and great service. And a possible return to the city is the hotel you will choose again.

This hotel is in the pedestrian shopping district of central Bordeaux. The most prestigious brands are available right around the corner. The rooms are small; I sat crosswise on the toilet to make room for my knees. The stairs are steep, and the beds are very comfortable, not the usual French hard mattresses. good value.

This Hotel de France is great. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They found me an extension cord when I asked, recommended excellent restaurants, and were always ready to chat if the guests wanted to. The hotel is one block from the bus we took from the airport and is centrally located - great for shopping, the opera house,... More

We enjoyed the benefits of being in a large room, with free of charge cot, for our 20 month old. The location was so central that we found interesting things to see within a few minutes walk. The central location means that there is noise at night, from people and midnight rubbish collections. However we used ear plugs and our... More

We stayed here for two nights (October 2013). Saturday was very noisy as a flat opposite decided to have a karaoke party - until 3 in the morning, so little sleep. Sunday was much quieter though. The hotel itself was small with rooms to match but as we stayed only 2 nights this wasn't a problem. Good size shower but... More

Stayed 3 nights in this small but good value central hotel (77 euro per double room per night). Rooms are very small so recommend a double even if just for one. WiFi available and breakfast which is very adequate and fresh can be brought to your room for no extra charge. Desk staff very nice and helpful - but note... More
