I had booked a double room for myself and companion and 2 single rooms for travelling companions for 3 nights 15-18 May 2013 Immediate occupation was not possible when we tried to check in at 13h00, so went for lunch and returned later. We turned the key to enter our room (25) and we were instantly and simultaneously horrified. I... More

We stayed with a package from the Tourist Information at the Hotel d Opera which belongs to and is right around the corner from Hotel 4 soeurs. Price was quite good for its location: across the street from the theatre, pedestrian zone and 2 min from tourist info. However, our room was quite small (5th floor). Try to ask for... More

Fantastic location if nothing else, as most have said, we checked in and went to the room. Pretty basic and the toilet didnt work, we were moved straight away, but these things should really be picked up before letting guests into their rooms. Not exactly spacious, but it is clean and for one night it was adequate...would i stay there... More

Perfect location (as others have said, very near the tourist office, tram stop, restaurants, etc.) and a charming property. Rooms were nicely decorated and simple, with comfortable beds. Pillows weren't great, but we don't really expect them to be when traveling. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is that we had some maintainence issues - when... More

I just stayed one night in this hotel with some friends, so we didn't spend much time in the hotel. Our "chambre luxe" was very spacious with two big windows and a nice view on the city. The breakfast room is rather small and there were some people waiting for a free table. The hotel is functional and centrally located.... More

If location and price are your main priorities, 4 Soeurs is absolutely perfect. It's located right in the main square of Bordeaux, near the tram, a zillion restaurants, and shopping. Our room was fairly large, had big windows, and was great for what we needed. If you're looking to spend a lot of time in a hotel room, or enjoy... More

If you are looking for a soulless, sterile chain hotel with all of the amenities, this is not for you. If, however, you are looking for charm, good service and a lovely regional sense, we recommend this highly. Every room is different and ours was certainly pleasant. It was larger than we are used to in continental hotels and was... More

We found it easily by crossing road outside station and catching tram to Quinconces. Just had to cross the road and head up the first street to the right...only a few doors up. First impressions not good: faded old carpet, half painted walls, modem and exposed wiring in ceiling. However the room was comfortable and clean enough and location good.... More

This hotel has everything you would expect from a European 3 Star Hotel. Small but cozy rooms and very friendly service. I loved that I could open the window and take advantage of the nightly breeze. The breakfast is nice but you can probably do better out in town for the same price. The highlight of the hotel is the location... More

This hotel is an adequate hotel, but in a great location. There is a tram stop right by the hotel, and it is right in the middle of old town with tons of restaurants and bars. If you drive, the parking garage is quite expensive, as are many in Europe. Breakfast is expensive, but right next door is a cafe... More
