The walls? They look like cardboard.
The ceiling? It look like cardboard.
The roof? It look like cardboard.
I heard snoring from the next room.
When it rained was very annoying.
Breakfast was very poor.
Staff was excellent.
The Hotel is in the Center City, 45 minutes from airport by bus (7 euro purchased on the bus).
200 meters and you are in the Garonne river. 100 meters and you are in the square.
I paid less then 100 euro per night with breakfast.
Autumn and winter are very wet in Bordeaux!!! (4 days of rein) more

This hotel is both recommended here and in Lonely Planet. Great location in Bx, easy to get to off the ring road, with good parking nearby. Immediately opposite is the Maison de Vin, so if you're into wine it's perfect - great wine bar attached to MdV. Tourism office is about 20 steps to the right and the Grand Theatre is 20 steps ot the left. Easy to walk to most things of interest. Good choice of resturants close by.
Rooms clean, non smoking available. Showers good and hot. Only minor whinge was that the double bed was double not a queen. Would stay here again.
