A friend and I stayed at La Maison Bordeaux for one night (9/2/08), and we had a great experience. We arrived before check in time, but the staff was kind enough to allow us to check in early. However, when we arrived in our room, we discovered that it did not have air conditioning. The staff was very gracious about... more

We stayed at this hotel in the CELIA room for 2 nights in August. First of all, yes, the rooms are beautiful. Our room had lovely hardwood floors and very large, arched windows as shown in another reviewer's post. This is the green room, which I personally thought would be annoying, but was actually rather peaceful. It is located off... more

Some girlfriends and I stayed at La Maison for 3 nights. It is a lovely peaceful hotel situated down a side street about 10 minutes walk into town or to the river. The whole hotel is very modern and tastefully decorated and has a lovely courtyard where breakfast was served, and somewhere nice to sit out in after a days... more

We originally stayed here for one night on arrival to Bordeaux. The plan was to drive to the Dordogne for several days but eventually we cut short the countryside in favour of returning to Bordeaux...and came back here for the last night. Thierry and Françoise (the managers) gave us a warm welcome and were keen to help out in any... more

The building is nice and less than 10 minutes from the centre. We had a room that was like a shop-window: so the blinds had to be closed . There was a stifling atmosphere in the room; it was noisy (traffic and other guests)There was no wardrobe; the door of the shower did not close properly: so there was a... more

It is a nice building with a nice patio, but the staff's attitude was far from what we can expect when we pay over 200 euros a night. Room: big space, 2 washbasings and 2 showers but only one little soap bar. . We asked for a cradle, but no cover was provided to keep baby warm. Be ware: if... more

We have just got back from Bordeaux and the Aquitaine region and stayed at the beginning and the end of our holiday at Hotel de Charme La Maison Bord'eaux (this is it's full name). We had a brilliant time in Bordeaux and the hotel is well worth a visit. The hotel itself is on an unassuming side street 10 minutes... more

This hotel is overpriced. It is really an upmarket bed and breakfast. The decor was not to my taste ie - I don't expect to have plastic chairs ,no matter how trendy, in a dining room. There was no wardrobe in the bedroom, just a hanging rail and again I don't want to lie in bed looking at my clothes,... more

The hotel is quite easy to miss as it's down a side street and there is no obvious sign from the road. However, it's in a great location, a 10 minute walk from the centre. The hotel is centred around a small courtyard where you can sit to read or to eat if the weather is good, and the whole... more
