A good stay in a good location enjoying a lively city. The distance from the city is sa far as you would want for a stay of short duration and the car parking is very tight both in the number of car spaces and the access in and out but it was a restful weekend stay at a time of... More

Somewhere between a boutique hotel and pension, it's well located for a walking tour of Bordeaux. Staff are courteous and helpful, though not on site 24/7. Parking provided a few doors down, but be sure to ask them to save a space. A large car may prove tricky to park in the very tight garage. No elevator with a good... More

An almost perfect place to stay in Bordeaux! This hotel shelters behind large walls that internally surround a courtyard and are covered with fragrant creepers. The rooms are full of character, but no lift. Breakfast is fresh and tasty. The location is what we found excellent. It is situated in a quiet street that is part of the huge area... More

I have mixed feelings about the hotel. On the plus side, it clean and the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. However our room was very tired looking and the wardrobe was simply a pole between the toilet cubical and ensuite shower. The shower and bathroom bit was very small and tired and so I cannot consider... More

Delightful stay. The room was spacious clean & comfortable in a quiet area. The service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel front door way is not easy to find but our taxi dropped us outside. The hotel is next to Palais Gallien & a 10 minute walk from the Grand Opera. The Jardin Public is close by.... More

Nothing to complain about, perfect position a stonethrow away from the monumental and shopping district. The staff is more than friendly and professional, ready to provide very good recommendations, also for your choice of restaurants. I just found breakfast not up to the expectations and to the otherwise excellent level of this structure, in any case definitely overpriced. The house... More

The main problem was that from the open whilst stylish bathroom it stinks from the sink. This smell doesnt even go away with windows open all night and accepting the traffic noise. There has clearly been an attempt to create a design athmosphere and the courtyard is pretty, but thats not enought to make it a boutique hotel. Also offering... More

When we arrived by car, directed by sat nav, to a non descript street just outside of the main city centre I did wonder whether we were in the right place. Then I noticed a small sign on a large courtyard door, hit the button and we entered a pretty little courtyard. The hotel is actually pretty well located -... More

This a small, boutique-type hotel that left us with somewhat mixed feelings. The pros: 1. walking distant to city centre and all attractions. 2. a very enthused and friendly staff. 3. a pleasant courtyard garden. 4. our two rooms were large, very well-appointed, comfortable, with large terraces, and huge modern bathroom - lovely! The cons: 1. The hotel is not... More

Loved our stay at Le Maison Bordeaux. From our gracious greeting by Caroline at the front desk, each and every member of the staff made us welcome and at home. The breakfast which we choose to take in the intimate dining room was fresh, flavorful and the kitchen was prepared to make us anything we wished. We would not hesitate... More
