This was our first trip to Bordeaux and we were very pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the city is. The hotel is a very charming place to stay tucked away from the busy roads around it. Our only grips were the quality of the lighting in the rooms and some minor maintenance issues which you would expect to be dealt... More

We stayed for one night, but wished we cold have stayed longer. This little hotel is charming. We had a room on the ground floor, in the old stable. It was large and faced the garden. The bed was awesome--very comfortable. The location of the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the center city, we would have preferred... More

The staff here is excellent, incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave excellent restaurant recommendations and even went out of their way to make reservations for a later leg of our trip, very accommodating. The room was huge by European standards and very comfortable. The price was very reasonable for a higher-end hotel. Cozy and quiet location, just a 10 minute... More

Small hotel in an ancient nice building. Very few rooms, all different. Hotel is not placed in the Centre of Bordeaux as suggested by other opinions. it is ca 15min by car from the city centre. Breakfast offer is poor and not cheap. better to have breakfast elsewhere. All in all is a nice place to stay but rather overpriced.

The website looks good, the photos look good, the reviews sound good, but must all be for the one room that is good. The rest are really very ordinary and certainly not a world standard 4 star property as advertised. No soap, no face cloth, no tissues, no floor coverings, no milk for coffe or tea. The floor is dirty,... More

We arrived at this charming hotel after a delayed flight and a stressful start to the holiday and we were instantly set at ease. Not only was the hotel itself beautiful, but the grounds are tranquil and the staff extremely attentive. The rooms are well appointed and spacious with fantastic showers. Highly recommended.

This hotel is located very close to downtown Bordeaux (along the Jardin Public), nevertheless in a quiet area. The rooms and common spaces are simply beautiful, designed and decorated with great taste., miles away from the cold and impersonal hotels of comparable standing you will find in town. In addition the staff members are very friendly and as helpful as... More

The service at this hotel was absolutely amazing. The best I have seen in my long career as a global globetrotter. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that our stay exceeded our wildest expectations (and no, there is no exaggeration in this!). Very well located, in a lovely quiet area but close to the center. The room... More

The staff are supremely helpful, friendly and courteous. The hotel was a perfect choice for a romantic break in Bordeaux, with it being only a 10 min leisurely walk into town made it the perfect location also. The rooms are large and nicely decorated and the breakfast was delicious, but the wine from the owners vineyard was superb. I would... More

Normally, I like to stay closer to downtown Bordeaux, but the pictures from this hotel intrigued me and I am glad I stayed there. The rooms are spacious, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom that you would expect to find in a five star hotel, including Hermes toiletry. The room was very modern and looked out over a lovely...
