This hotel will appeal to those who want to stay somewhere "different". It is quite convenient for most attractions, but there are hotels even closer. But it does seem to me that it needs some attention from its owner, the eminent winemaker Pierre Lurton, who according to staff is rarely seen. Breakfasts were chaos - not enough cutlery or crockery... More

The location, staff, cozy and funky small hotel made this a great stay. The accommodation was all we needed and more with some nice extra touches. The staff was excellent and did everything they could to help with parking, restaurants, and arranging activities. The place is a in a resdidential neighborhood so it was quiet but still near everything. Something... More

The hotel shares a building with the Consulat de Monaco - which is quite unusual. On arrival it is hard to see the hotel as entry is via a shared entrance - the building is located in a small street which is around 10 minutes walk to shops, a range of restaurants and the main sites of Bordeaux. There are... More

This boutique hotel a stones throw from the heart of Bordeaux and is a trendy alternative to the overly opulent rooms in larger hotels in Bordeaux. The rooms are modern, clean and simply decorated with everything you need, but not super luxurious - think IKEA rather than John Lewis. It was an old coaching house and has been converted into... This hotel is a great little gem a short walk from the main attractions in Bordeaux. Our room was a good size (we were upgraded when we arrived so we're given a slightly larger room than one we booked). The standout feature for me was the service. During the booking process (I used the hotel website as it was the... More

Location is excellent. The hotel is located within a 10-15 minute walk from downtown. It's on a quiet street, but near a commercial street with many stores. We were surprised by the size of our room. Quite large, although most of the bathroom was not separated from the rest of the room. Toilet had it's own closet though. Bed was... More

we where very surprised the beauty of the hotel. Our complaint is there was no hot water that evening we checked in or in the morning. Apparently some one knew for the girl checking us out stated so. In wish some one told us or even offered an apology. Our check in process was so pleasant the lack of communication... More

The hotel was in a lovely, quiet, backwater yet only 15 mins walk to the centre of town. All staff we met were very helpful and knowledgable and the room was extremely comfortable (though not huge). A couple of additions to the room would have made it perfect: some drawers to store our clothes in (there was only a hanging... More

If you are anything like me, you like a decent size room when you travel. This unassuming boutique hotel offers that and much more. The location is very central and within 15 minutes walking distance of shopping and restaruants. The rooms are modern and well appointed extras like terry cloth robes and and fully stock bar. The window with french... More

Despite my partner being French neither of us had ever been to Bordeaux, after a painless flight in and short taxi from the airport we entered the gates to the courtyard framed by a manicured garden and very high quality 18th century stable blocked that has been converted to modern use. The staff were pleasant and welcoming and took us... More
