A very nice boutique B&B in the heart of Bordeaux. Fabrice provided excellent communication during the booking phase - all details were carefully provided. We had a car with us - it is very advisable to book a parking place in advance. The car park was just around the corner - I'd guess quite rare in the heart of Bordeaux.... More

Wonderful 3 night stay at this boutique hotel. Rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything you need - toiletries, tea/coffee/hairdryer/fantastic towels and bedding etc. Excellent location, within walking distance to all the Bordeaux city centre sights. There is also a tram stop just around the corner, for rainy/lazy days! Fabrice, the host, was most welcoming and couldn't do enough for... More

We spent 6 nights at L'invitation au Voyage. What a wonderful place to stay in a fabulous city. Fabrice is a great host and so helpful. There is little to add to the comments that others have made about the location, the accommodation, the food. All good! Do consider as a place to stay. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I spent 2 nights here at the end end of September. It was our first trip to Bordeaux so we checked Trip Advisor (as usual!) to find the best place to stay. The owner, Fabrice, is delightful. Very pleasant and helpful with lots of useful information about where to go and how to get there. L'Invitation is... More

Very well maintained boutique hotel close to the old town in a small street, with very personal and nice management. We had a room facing the street with high ceiling, little balcony, and great decor. Simple but tasty breakfast. Changing the booking was easy.

The quiet little street it's in, amid a variety of little restaurants, may not be among the most grand in Bordeaux but this little hotel is a very nice place indeed at which to stay. A stylish building inside, L'Invitation Au Voyage is located near the Musee d'Aquitaine, just one tram stop from the cathedral, offering comfortable, traditional rooms. The... More

Francois is a terrific host, recommends restaurants and activities. The breakfast provided is fresh bread, croissants and a range of jams. The rooms are clean and well presented as well as spacious. We arrived late at night and Francois arranged for us to get into the room via email. Very reasonably priced. The wifi is problematic but this is a... More

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend. We notified the owner that we would be arriving early and he kindly gave us the code of the front door, so that we could let ourselves in and leave our bags. Fabrice is a great host and gave us lots of tips about where to eat and what to... More

Fabrice runs a wonderful boutique in a charming part of Bordeaux. The room was very stylishly decorated and it has the feel of an old world boarding house. lovely host and great location. we would definitely return. Very close to a tram stop.
