This is a renovated hotel in a previous small housing building. Staff in reception is very helpful. If you get a room in the 2nd. floor you have to carry the baggage because there is no elevator. Rooms are well decorated, but are small. In the days we spent in Bordeaux there was an abnormal outside temperature of 43ºC, and... More

Thank you for your commentary. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. The receptionist is always willing to help you carrying your luggage up (and down) to your room. Best regards from Bordeaux (where it is less hot now) More

This is a great little independent hotel. The rooms are clean, though spare. Each room has a full bathroom, but the fixture in our shower was broken, so I had to hold the shower wand the entire time I showered. This could be easily fixed. The beds were clean and comfortable. There is no AC, but with the windows open,... More

This is a lovely hotel with a superb location to the train/tram/bus station. It is a 5-6 tram stop from the centre of Bordeaux. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were very neat, clean and comfy. I would recommend this hotel.

The idea here is neat - rooms in the hotel, then cottage-seeming rooms behind the main building. If only the rooms behind the main building weren't musty with fans that didn't work and a towel warmer that didn't work. It felt a little dumpy to be honest and the breakfast was a little sparse (though they did have nutella, so... More

Stayed at Hotel Aquitain for 4 nights; chose the location to be near the station. For the time spent we should have stayed closer to town as there is a tram that runs every few minutes all around Bordeaux. For E1.50 it is very comfortable and easy transportation. The area around the train station is very noisy and you don't... More

This is a handy location to the train/tram/bus station, short couple of minutes walk. The staff are extremely helpful, particularly Galinda (hope I have that correct), giving great tips on the city and places to eat. Room was basic, very clean and comfy. The hotel is 6 tram stops from the city centre and shops etc. We did not eat... More

This hotel is lovely and in a very good location to get everywhere in Bordeaux. The staff were very helpful especially the girl on reception Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. We think her name was Charlotte. You must go on the wine tour to Saint Emillion, which is very good.

Short walk to the train/bus station was a blessing after a long travel day. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Just ask for suggestions in what to see and how to get there and the staff is more than willing to help you get there. No English TV but then we were not there to watch TV and the WiFi... More

A nice place to spend when transit in Bordeaux! Close to train station and comfortable and clean! Good value for money and supporting the small enterprices here - close to some restaurants so no worries. Recommended by Dutch Aussie travellers
