What a lovely charming place run by charming people. I love my room 24 with walls of warm bordeaux stone and bed is super-comfortable (I'm writing from there). The location of the place is fantastic, very quaint, near everything yet no noisy street outside. At breakfast, French and English newspapers await you with fresh bread rolls and croissant. Kindness seems... More

We spent 4 nights in this hotel just off Cours de l'Intendance. Conveniently located. The breakfast was in a quaint room. Our room was located in an entrance outside and around the corner. The room was adequate in size but the bathroom was tiny. I'm not sure what's the story with showers that aren't completely enclosed, but the small size... More

This hotel is perfect when you look for a cosy/romantic hotel in a classic style. The rooms are decorated with the classical Bordeaux stone and therefore gives a very authentic feel. This is combined with a modern bathroom in wood. You are in a perfect place to visit the ancient city of Bordeaux, as it is near Place Gambetta and... More

Let me start by saying that I arrived at 10:30 in Bordeaux after a 12 hour drive from Marbella. This was a last minute booking for me by my wife. I drove around trying to find this hotel for 30 mins. The problem was not the sat nav but the new pedestrian areas. This meant that the nearest I could... More

Great location next to Place Gambetta and the Golden Triangle. Stayed in the annex just a few metres round the corner from the main building. Room was modest in size, but perfectly acceptable, clean and well appointed with good aircon, important with temperatures in the 30'sC. Staff were very helpful. We had booked through Expedia just an hour before arriving... More

A hotel with character. Location was perfect, down a quiet narrow street just off Gambetta and hence easy access with public transport from train or plane. Very central, virtually all within walking distance. Narrow gorgeous stone stairs to a great room: curved with bare (warm pale orange colour) stones and blue deep piled carpet. Lift available. Modest breakfast buffet. Generally... More

For the price we paid (126€ per night) Our room although clean was very small & very basic. The bathroom was directly next to the bed and was also very small and basic. The breakfast was 12€ each so we decided to give it a miss & opted for 0.99c croissants from the patisserie shop on corner therefore cannot provide... More

Perfect location. Very clean and well appointed basic hotel. Does what it says on the tin. Helpful staff with quite good English skills. We would stay there again. Originally booked for couple but needed to change to add teenager, easy to update.

We stayed here for three nights in May 2012. This hotel is very conveniently located. A short 150 meters from the airport bus stop on place Gambetta, on the edge of the old town but in a quiet alley, away from the bustle. Our room was great with lots of daylight, old stone walls and a "maritime" feel to it.... More

The hotel is small and has an annex in the next street. Good service and very friendly reception. The room was very small but for a business trip big enough. A nice breakfast is served every morning. The location of the hotel its self and the annex is great. Near to all the great places to visit, yet very quiet.... More
