Extremely well located hotel in the heart of the city. The rooms are decent for the price you pay. Negative point the extremely small bathroom and the "flood effect" every time you shower... The room was located at the ground floor in the nearby building to the main hotel... negative point the room was extremely humid and badly aerated. Free... More

The hotel is on a pedestrian only street which they don't tell you so you'll go crazy trying to drive there. I booked a double room only to be told there was a 20E charge for second person; tried explaining I booked a double because there were two people otherwise I would have book a SINGLE. Our room was tiny... More

- No soap or shampoo in room - no bracket for shower head (had to shower while holding the shower head in one hand) - drop curtain on window could not be raised as the pull cord was broken (room remained in semi-darkness) - elevator doors have graffiti scratched into the paint. - there was a large gob of spit... It's an interesting experience driving to this hotel as you have to get through bollards in the pedestrianised part of Bordeaux. To do this you need to get a code from hotel reception. You then announce the numbers in French through the intercom by the entrance into the old town, so that the bollards can be lowered and then you... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. Beautiful room, very spacious and comfortable. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the old town. The staff were mostly friendly, but the afternoon staff was not as knowledgable or helpful, so if we wanted to ask simple questions, we learned to do so in the morning.

I was booked in for one night but stayed 3! Rooms lovely. If you want a bigger room pay that little bit extra for 'standing'. It provided perfect base to explore Bordeaux. Down a quiet little lane way but at the centre of things.

Located in the old town centre, a small hotel of great charm and character has been created from a much older building. After a friendly greeting from the duty manageress a lift to my first floor room was a pleasant surprise- we have found few such lifts in such hotels on this trip. My room facing west was filled with... More

What a pleasure to arrive at this charming hotel, tucked away in a quiet little side street-cum pedestrian area. The room walls are of natural honey-coloured stone – just like the rest of Bordeaux – and if that pleasing, restful pastel colour weren’t enough, I can also report that the bed was possibly the most comfortable I’ve so far slept... What a lovely charming place run by charming people. I love my room 24 with walls of warm bordeaux stone and bed is super-comfortable (I'm writing from there). The location of the place is fantastic, very quaint, near everything yet no noisy street outside. At breakfast, French and English newspapers await you with fresh bread rolls and croissant. Kindness seems... More

We spent 4 nights in this hotel just off Cours de l'Intendance. Conveniently located. The breakfast was in a quaint room. Our room was located in an entrance outside and around the corner. The room was adequate in size but the bathroom was tiny. I'm not sure what's the story with showers that aren't completely enclosed, but the small size... More
