We stayed in this hotel for one night on our way to south west France simply to break our long journey. Reception on arrival were very helpful. After a good evening out in Bordeaux we returned to unmanned reception and then to our room. When we woke in the morning we discovered that whilst we had been asleep somebody had... More

Despite others saying the hotel was in a not-so-good neighborhood, I though the location was a bright spot -- walking distance to a central square, just off the tram line. The rooms were big but no views to speak of, and several things were broken (for example: the bathroom outlets did not work; the closet door was off kilter; and... More

We stayed here for two nights and found little to complain about. It is within easy access of the city if you want to walk , there is a bus that stops about 50 yards away and the tram (which will take you all over the city) is in the next street so the location is very convenient. Unlike other... More

Staff at reception were very helpful on check-in. Take the 'Appart' in 'Appart-hotel' with a pinch of salt. The kitchen facilities consisted of a random assembly of semi-useful items. For example, no bowls were provided, but we were treated to three different kinds of spoon.. Our room was large and clean. Our only real complain would be about the cleaners,... More

30 min walk from Gare St Jean. 15min walk from Place Victoire where the Rue St Catherine and the main tourist streets start. You can also take bus or tram around. Not many restaurants or shops in immediate vicinity but we spent most of the day downtown anyways. Air conditioned. Bathroom was very clean. Fresh towels daily. Room was basic... More

I had never seen a hotel that closes its doors during the day. I got at 1 pm, tired from the trip, with lugages, hungry and the hotel was closed from 0:30 pm till 4:30 pm. It is unbelivable! I had to stay in the street waiting the hotel opening its doors! The place around the hotel is very bad.

The receptionist was lovely and helpful and took her time with the kids trying to check in with their limited french. Clean room. loads of wardrobe space. not bad price. fridge and cooking area. good ensuite. Bad: too far away from... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very large, had a very comfortable bed, a small kitchenette (only the microwave and fridge could be use but there were no cooking instruments or utensils) and a nice bathroom. The breakfast spread was massive! There was more food than you could deign to eat, with lots of variety. The hotel... More

Thrilled with the price of this place, booked in on a busy Saturday night and we were given a roomey studio. Everything we needed for one night. Comfortable bed, lovely wooden floors, cooking equipment to make our breakfast with the next day... Bathroom could have been a tiny bit cleaner, you know in the corner of the room etc where... More

If the smell of fish (or something dead, I don't really know what it was) is what you like, book this hotel. If not, run for your life! The receptionist was nice enough and I guess the problems are not his fault, but the owners.
