We just spent our first two days in Bordeaux city at the Burdigala and I had to be sure to comment on this wonderful hotel. The location is excellent- close enough to walk all around this historical city, yet off the beaten path so it is a welcome retreat at the end of the day. The beds are really comfortable... More

We stayed in Le Burdigala hotel for our 4 day holidays in Bordeaux. Whilst researching we found this as the second best of the city and member of M Gallery hotels of Accor so we trusted it. It's very clean and he staff very helpful. They all speak English, phew. We found that the room is not spacious enough and... More

Budrigala was a very pleasant surprise. We stayed for one night on our way to Spain. Stylish and modern, very pleasant and attentive staff, with all amenities of a 4 star and very convenient that they have their parking. Rooms very well decorated and very clean, comfy bed and spacious and clean bathroom. The only thing was that is was... More

The Burdigala is not really in the old town area of Bordeau, but just on the edge. Upon walking around, it seemed to me that there were many hotels that were better-situated. The room was larger than typical French hotel rooms, but was garish, with metal and glass walls and furniture. I especially disliked the lighting, which was harsh. Staff... More

No room service, poor mini bar and snacks selection. No TV channels in English nor any pay to view TV. We were told there was a DVD selection for kids, but when a DVD player was brought to our room it could not be fitted to the TV. We had hoped for a five star hotel experience and did not... More

We have just come home after staying in this lovely hotel for 3 nights. The standard room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a coffee machine and free mineral water. There were plenty of towels and toiletries and everything seemed to be done to ensure your comfort. The room had a separate toilet which was a... Stayed for 2 nights in a superior room with my wife and were delighted. The room was of a decent size and perfectly presented. Decoration stylish and modern. Staff friendly, professional and universally helpful. The hotel is quite modern and only a short walk from the city centre which was not a problem as umbrellas were available for the rain... More

A clean, modern, tastefully decorated hotel located a short distance from Bordeaux's town centre. The street outside is unprepossessing, but there is room to pull up and unload your vehicle before parking in the hotel's own underground car park. Staff are friendly and speak English.
