Great location, hotel room was a good size big bathroom. Staff were really nice and very helpful especially Stephane who recommened restaurants and booked them for us and would always phone our room about an hour before to tell us he had booked a taxi. My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Burdigala for four nights in may 2007. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It is a four star hotel and it shows. Do not be put off by the immediate surroundings--ugly modern buildings and really nothing to look at. But you are 5 minutes from the old city by foot.... more

Stayed here 1st week of December. 2nd floor room non smoking room at front of hotel. Room unbearably hot and air con switched off to save money. Forget the client lets save money!.
