I stayed here for three nights, paying about £35 per night so was not expecting much; and I was not disappointed! The location is convenient for the main railway station at St Jean, but the area itself is not the best. The city centre is about a 25 minute walk of 5 minutes on the excellent tram system. The room... More

Because we were only staying one night (and a week later again one night), we wanted something close to the station. The location is good and the personnel was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel is nothing to rave about . Our first room was very small, everything is very basic and it smelled weird in the rooms. Our... More

This write up is for my room and parts of the hotel I had seen. We'll reviews of this hotel were not specifically good, but I wanted something close to the train station because we were only staying two nights. The walk from the train station to the hotel is approximately 8 minutes. The room was extremely small and you... More

The hotel itself is nothing to rave about but its location close to the Bordeaux station makes this a compelling choice if you are in the city. The accommodation and options are fairly decent for the price it offers and the staff is eager to help you (especially if you can speak a little French). That being said, my room... More

We were planning to stay here for 3 nights but only stayed for one because we had a terrible nights sleep. The hotel itself is fine and the staff were very helpful and friendly but the location seemed to be a bit dodgy and we were woken up several times during the night by noise coming from both inside and... Good location, near train/bus station. Helpful staff. Could be very, very noisy at night up to early morning hours, specially rooms located near the street. there was only one person at the reception that spoke english during our 4 day stay!

Yes the accommodation offered here is basic, as is reflected in the price. However it is a short walk from the main streets, the rooms are clean and the staff helpful. Our room also had pretty good views over the city so can't complain! I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a low budget base from which to explore... More

Stopped here on my way to Saint Jean Pied de Port. Very close to the train station, great shower, lots of hot water, comfy and quite. Breakfast is about $11 extra, but well worth it. Cheeses, cold cuts, breads, fruits, cereals, juices, coffee, milk. You can get well-fed before taking off. I will stay there again in 2014 in April,... More

Have stayed here a few times. The location is really good as it's about five minute's walk from the station and the reception staff are lovely. However the hotel is pretty shabby and not very clean (sticky carpets, peeling wallpaper, broken fittings...) and could do with a bit of TLC. Perfectly good for a convenient over night stay

Clean and comfortable. Only two small complaints. Our room was a smoking room even though we specified non-smoking in reservations but not a big deal since we aired it out and it smelled fine afterwards. There was also only one electricity plug in the entire room. Otherwise great place to stay for a few nights while traveling. Approx 20 min... More
