I was (we were) pleasantly surprised with this great little gem in Bordeaux near/across Bordeaux's Central Station. Apparantly, the hotel had been renovated/redecorated (the reception/breakfast area and more) and gave it a trendy but warm look. Very inviting to have a relaxing breakfast. And what a breakfast it was: pure joy to wake up and go downstairs to start the... More

What a pleasant surprise awaits, just a stone's throw from the station! The hotel is very well appointed and tastefully designed with a modern touch. There is a definite wine theme in the bar/reception area, as befits this beguiling and lovely city. The staff team is, without doubt, the star of this show. Their faultless customer service, warmth and passion... More

So glad the reviews reflect my opinion as I had read some concerns about the neighbourhood, etc and booked this late in my France visit. Hats off to the maid who rushed down the stairs as I was checking out with my new fancy umbrella that I had forgotten. Whoever read this she deserves a tip. The people at the... More

From the outside the hotel looked a bit on the small side but from the inside it was lovely. Situated right next to the main train station, we expected it to be a bit noisy but were pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't. We stayed two nights, once at the beginning of our holiday and once at the end as... More

Our group of five was in need of a hotel near the train station because we had two children with us and an early morning train into Paris. Perhaps it is because we had spent three + lovely weeks in the Perigord (90 minutes to the East) drinking fabulous wines and eating fresh and amazing food but we were a... More

We booked this hotel for it's location near the train station We arrived from Paris and the hotel is a short walk away. We only stayed one night as we were hiring a car the next day to explore the region. The car hire outlets are also located next to the train station. The staff were friendly on check in.... More

Location was perfect when I arrived at night by train. Also city centre was easily accessible by tram in less than 10 minutes. Reception staff was kind. Hotel and my room was in very good condition and perfectly cleaned up. Bed was comfortable. Air-conditioning was a bit loudy. At night between Friday and Saturday there were noisy people around the... More

I booked this hotel after reading reviews on tripadvisor and due to it's location to the Gare Saint Jean. I had a very pleasant 6 night stay here. All the staff were very efficient and friendly. The hotel is literally a stone's throw from the station. My room was reasonably sized with a mini bar and George Clooney type coffee... More

The ground floor reception area of the hotel has been recently refurbished, was clean, modern and fresh. The room was a little tired, although the lighting was not great. The room was very clean and ok decor standard albeit it was on the small side. The frosted glass window hid the view onto a small alleyway brick wall and air... More
