We were visiting Bordeaux for a weekend and chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station, night life and city centre. All in all it was a fairly ok experience, with the reception staff being friendly and the rooms being clean. However a few negatives to add were that the wifi didn’t work properly, and nor did the... I was very excited to travel to bordeaux as it rated highly on my bucket list, I must say the whole place disappoints! The buildings are great but all footpaths are soiled by dog droppings which ruins the ambience (and smell) of the area. This hotel is in an excellent position and the staff are great and can't do enough... More

This hotel is very well located, in a quiet and accessible place, close to Gare Saint Jean and a good walking distance or access via Tramway to Bordeaux main points. The room is comfortable, with nice services, also good breakfast and fair Internet access. The only remark is that the hotel reception was held, in the weekend we spend most... More

Very good value for money. The entry is a bit worn, but the rooms are very comfortable in terms of cleanliness and bedding. Not all rooms have good wifi or air con, so I found it very hot. On a tram line to city centre, and close to main station- not a huge amount of restaurants near hotel.

One of my travel buddies and I researched hotels in Bordeaux before going to France and figured it had to be good based on the reviews...This place was worse than the pits. We chose this hotel because it was close to the railway station, we were spending limited time in four major cities. The room was cramped (I've been to... More

I booked this hotel via booking.com. It was a bargain at €140 for two nights. And for what I paid it was decent enough. A friendly welcome on arrival, the room was ready for us even though we arrived before the official check-in time. The hotel is situated about 25-30 minutes walk outside of Bordeaux centre but the tram stops... More

We have just returned from a three night stay in Bordeaux and booked our hotel via hotel.com which meant we paid around £55 per night on a room only basis. I have to say that I found the location was pretty perfect. Firstly the locale is not rough, seedy or any other descriptors as some have said. It is what... More

It is nearby the train station and was selected for this purpose but it is old and tired. The rooms and corridors are very dark with brown walls and red carpet and it needs some refurbishment. The room was average size but lacked a refrigerator and safe; essentials today in a hotel. If near the station is required it is... More
