This little gem is everything that everyone has raved about - great price, good location, clean, friendly, and helpful. In short, one of those hotels you actually wouldn't want to tell too many people about it - lest it becomes spoiled. Enjoy it while it lasts Trip Advisor fans! more

I've been bringing groups of artists to France to paint since 1993 but this was my first time in Bordeaux. We were a group of 21 and occupied 15 rooms at the Continental. For me it all starts with the reception you get at the desk - the friendliness of the staff. Beatrice and Corinne were great. But I expected... more

We stayed at the Continental based on Trip Advisor reviews. The location is great, very central in a smart area with easy access to trams, shops, restaurants etc. Staff were friendly and spoke English. Our room was TINY, really only a single room, with a shower room (no bath). The window opened onto a light well and directly overlooked other... more

We spent a couple of nights at this hotel very recently and were very pleased with it's locaiton. Although it's in the centre of Bordeaux (a beautiful city) and just off a very chic shopping area with lots of top name retailers, it's actually very quiet. Our room looked out onto a former theatre which is being renovated, a beautiful... more

We have just returned from a trip staying at this hotel and was not disappointed. Generally our travel party were suprised that this was only a two star hotel. Much has already been said about his hotel in the previous reviews. Room was clean, staff friendly and helpful, free wifi in rooms, great location close to the centre of town... more

When booking this hotel i specifically asked for a quiet room. A day or two before we were due to arrive i also emailed to confirm the reservation & to request a room with airconditioning if possible as it had been very hot leading up to our stay, and a previous reviewer had mentioned that only some rooms have a/c.... more

I booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and wasnt disappointed. The hotel is perfect for a city break - comfortable, clean and very central although set in a quiet road off the main drag. Rooms have flat screen tvs and air condition, clean bathroom and good shower. All in all great value for money and would definitely recommend.... more

The room was fine - basic, but clean and bright. The location was very central, and was in a good area. There is a nice bar next door to the hotel. The breakfast however was too basic, in a somewhat dismal room, and the coffee was kept in plastic jugs so it was cold. more

Pretty simple hotel, the rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Location was crucial for us (we don't spend that much time in the room anyway), and this place came through on that! It's in a great spot, within 5mins walk of the city centre and most other sights. Would definitely recommend if you want to stay somewhere very central,... more
