Couldn't believe how quiet the place was as its right in the city centre. We did have a room at the back which may have helped too. Room was very well decorated, no tea making facilities as with most European hotels but very clean and the staff were friendly. The room was good value and although I couldn't fault the... More

I stayed here for two days and was happy I came over. The staff were really polite and very good to talk to for anything. My room 201 was spacious enough for me and had a very nice bathroom. he hotel s within a walking distance with he pedestrian street where you can find many shops and restaurants. I would... More

Great location and staff very friendly. Would recommend if you are in Bordeaux for a short break. Everything within easy walking distance. Trams and buses stop just a few yards away. You can get to the hotel from the airport for just 1.50euro. Bordeaux is a lovely city to walk around ideal for short break.

Pros great location to everything Good size rooms and great beds Friendly staff Cons Top floor room only for shorter people Also hard to get bags to the top floor room (only an issue for this room) I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is is in a great location just near the Grand Opera square a short walk to... More

We stayed for several nights. The Good:Excellent location, friendly and efficient staff, spacious room, comfortable bed. The Bad: Awful WiFi. Everywhere. Lobby, room. We ended up paying a fortune in data roaming charges to use 3G because the WiFi was unacceptable. The rooms are dated. The breakfast is overpriced and not good. Walk 4 minutes to Restaurant Karl and eat... More

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is is in a great location just near the Grand Opera, (turn left out of front door) essentially a short walk to centre of town. if you go right you end up at a main tram station and the world class tram system is definitely the best way to get around Bordeaux. You... More

Was there just for an overnight stay. Definitely a budget accommodation but not budget prices. For 14 euros a rather nominal breakfast. The taxi took more than twenty minutes to arrive although that is obviously not the hotels fault. But very friendly staff and a wonder for me was a walk through check in. I was asked to go the... This small hotel in a short quiet street provides an excellent base for a first or indeed subsequent visit to Bordeaux. Staff are agreeable and helpful. Our room at the front overlooked the street where some early morning crashing of bin lorries could be heard; however the double glazing takes care of that though it can become stuffy if you... More

The Majestic is a very small, very clean hotel in a very quiet location in the heart of beautiful Bordeaux. It also happens to be located near what I consider the best resto in the city, Brasserie L'Orleans. Because it happens to be located just a block or two from the intersection of a couple of lines of the incredible,... More

This was our second stay at Hotel Majestic for our annual trip to Bordeaux for the Marathon du Medoc. We always book a room with a bath and at Hotel Majestic and those rooms are generally larger. Rooms are very clean and bathrooms are clean and bright. Everyone at the hotel is really helpful and friendly. The decor is quite... More
