Good location, a few blocks from the old city. Room was nice (#34). Bath has tub with a hand shower (no shower curtain or equivalent). Air conditioning worked well. Free wifi, in the lobby only. Breakfast for 8E was very good: coffee or hot chocolate, croissant, roll, plain yogurt, and fresh fruit. Tiny TV (but who comes to Bordeaux to... more

The room was tatty, mouldy & a litlle smelly. The carpet was fillthy, even dangerous as it was all crumpled The Hotel is badly in need of modernisation. The staff were very helpful and pleasant which does help. more

We stayed at de Seze for 2 nights, our room and ensuite looked old and tired and the balcony doors leaked water onto the worn out carpet when it rained. The location was excellent and the staff were friendly but the hotel seemed to us a bit over priced for what it was. more

We chose this hotel because of it's location (very near to the main bars, streets etc) and on the website it looked ok and previous reviews seemed ok. Main lounge area is fine, we stayed in room 12 and it needs a good makeover. Bedside lamps were very old and didn't work. Nice chandelier but it was filthy. TV remote... more

Had just one night at the hotel, which was more than enough. Tired sums up the building, almost comotose. Dirty worn carpets; decor untouched since the '70's. Staff however were pleaasant and helpful and we were assured that the place was to be overhauled next year. Don't go until it is! more

Hotel Seze is a typical French 2/3 star city hotel. The hotel is past its best but in a good location very close to the central sites, tram station, etc. We stayed in a "superior" room for 65 Euros. The decor needed updating but the room and bathroom were a really good size. Our room looked over a lovely square... more

I think it should be mentioned here that this hotel is connected (physically) to the Royal Medoc, a less expensive alternative that shares the same reception and lobby. I reviewed that hotel, but the two should be listed together. I saw rooms in this one, but did not feel they were worth extra money, so stayed in the Royal Medoc. more

This is a older two (2) star hotel in a very good location in the city The hotel rooms and bathrooms are small, but for only sleeping this hotel is fine. The front desk staff are friendly and the hotel for the most part is clean. more

l'accueil est excellent mais l'hôtel a une déco trop vieille, c'est franchement moche et le petit déjeuner manque vraiment d'originalité.... more
