We checked in early, around 12:30. The front desk was very accomodating! They were also helpful for finding a place to grab a quick sandwich before taking a tour of the city. Really like the large room, true double paned windows, closet space and bathroom! Our only issue was with the elevator! We took it to our room on the... More

I probably was particularly unlucky to get one of the rooms without a view (except for the opposite wall), so the room was rather dark anyway. However, this is also one of the (too) many hotels which limit room lighting to bedside lamps and a lamp on the desk - definitively not sufficient to light up the room! The decor... More

Where did this hotel get its 4* stars from?!?! If indeed the Hôtel de Normandie is located in the heart of the 18th-century centre of Bordeaux which is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, I can assure you that the hotel does not deserve at all its 4 stars. Traveling the World for 20 years, this hotel is... More

Classic building in one of the centers of Bordeaux near public transportation and a large underground car park. The room was very large and spacious as well as air conditioned. The beds were comfortable. The rest of the furnishings were pretty basic. The breakfast buffet is good. The common rooms don't have a lot of seating. The staff was cordial.... More

The restaurant breakfast was excellent also the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. A great place to stay in this quiet and wonderful hotel. We had great restaurant recommendations and nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff.

Lovely room and good housekeeping. The area is very nice and the view from our room was great. The staff were especially lovely and helpful, someone even made us a generous tray of snacks in the middle of the night. Great breakfast.

This is a good Hotel conveniently placed in Bordeaux. There is a large public car park within 30 meters walk. The rooms are clean and well presented. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are the best that I have found in France so far. All in all a good place to stay when in Bordeaux.

I arrived in Bordeaux after my plane was diverted, so did not have a reservation. It was late and I tried six hotels which were full of convention goers. This hotel had a room for about 100 euros. The room was tiny, and very dated, but clean. It looked onto an alley. I was only staying a few hours, so... More

The hotel is located in the heart of Bordeaux close to almost everything. We were upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony and a lovely view of Bordeaux. The staff is very professional and welcoming. The bed however is not confortable, and could use a new mattress! The internet is also very slow even for a free connection.
