We were looking for a hotel at 9 pm and the recepcionist made a "special price" for us with breakfast included, so we decided to check in. The next morning when we made our check out they charged us the breakfast ( very expensive as usual in France). We tried to explained that the other recepcionist told us that the... More

This hotel has a great location and is a solid 3.5 almost 4 star. My room was on the small side, but came with excellent A/C, and that's what mattered more to me. Bathroom was new and updated as was the room. Double pane windows, no noise. Breakfast was fine, internet free but not the best. Price was very reasonable... More

Great location in the heart of Bordeaux, opposite to the Tourist Bureau & the Tram/Bus terminal. Comfortable room with generous sized bathroom & comfortable beds. Comprehensive breakfast included in the rate. Very helpful staff at front desk & in restaurant. All speak English. Only negative was weak or non-existent wi-fi in our room.

We stayed 5 nights here. A brilliant location right on the edge of the old town, close to all amenities- tram, bus, taxi, tourist info centre, cafes, restaurants, shops, the boardwalk, the river- the list goes on. Very reasonable rates for the location and quality of the room. The main bedroom while small, was adequate, as there was loads of... More

this is an average hotel synthetic but great location. the closest it gets to is a business hotel as the amenities are limited if any but the proximity to the trams and center of town makes it ideal for tourists. I would have liked airconditioning in my room as it was quite warm at night. but the Aircon simply didnt... More

This hotel is in a great location, and is non-pretentious, offering a comfortable clean place to stay! The building is beautiful and historic. The staff and service were outstanding. The speak english and were very accommodating.

Have just completed a weekend away with mates at the above hotel - the rooms are pretty spacious, the hotel clean and well decorated, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. But it's the location that makes the place - bang in the middle of town, on the tram route, and the airport bus stops right outside. Ideal

We stayed one night at the Hotel de Normandie in early October 2013. The location is great and the hotel is simple, clean, comfortable and a very good value. We had a room overlooking the streets and had the window open to keep the room cool. Bordeaux is an active town until late in the morning and I was awakened... More

We took the local bus right outside the airport. There are two buses here. The jet bus or the tbc bus. The tbc bus is cheaper at 1.40 euro's single per person. Look out for Lianes 1 Bordeaux quinconces to get to the centre. The last stop for this bus is right outside the hotel which was great. It took... More

if you seek THE location and polite staff, look no further. Rooms are a it small, but they are most accommodating people here. We mentioned that one of the 2 rooms we had taken was a bit too tight. They immediately found a bigger and better room. And everything is a stones throw away. The Tourist office, the lifeline to... More
