Less than a month ago I worked my way through France, basically heading southwest from Paris. My third hotel on the trip was the Particulier in Bordeaux, and I loved it! First, it is less than 100 yards from the cathedral, on a quiet street, in an old building - I didn't ask but I'm guessing 17th c - that... More

We stayed here for several nights. I think we had the largest suite: two good-sized rooms with windows to the street. Cleanliness was fine and the desk staff were quite friendly and helpful. The cathedral is at the end of the street, about 2-3 blocks. A long pedestrian street is nearby and city sights are within easy walking distance. A... More

A lovely mansion that has been converted to a hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. The breakfast was lovely. You sit at a huge table with other guests. A great way to meet and talk to new people. Highly recommend this place to my friends and family. Staff were love let and very helpful.

L'Hotel Particulier is a great little hotel in the heart of Bordeaux, close to everything. It is an old house/mansion that was smartly converted into a small hotel with amazing rooms. Every room has its own personality and everyone in our group enjoyed it. This isn't the place for those who prefer the chain hotels or the 5 star accommodations,... More

We had a delightful experience with a great room, charming balcony and excellent service. Location is excellent with proximity to cathedral, main squares, galleries and museums. Tram station very close to front door and very good wine store on hand as well. Owners are charming and very helpful.

Visited Bordeaux in Dec 2014 and had an excellent holiday experience at this hotel. Perfectly located near downtown with the tram station almost the door step. This hotel is run by a brother and sister team who are hands on and personally attend to details. The suite we stayed in was well designed with nice decor and amenities and kept... More

Stayed here over New Year and couldn't find fault on any level. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order with freshly squeezed orange juice. Staff so helpful (thank you Florence for finding us somewhere special to eat on New Year's eve) Interesting arty décor which we loved but some may find weird. Our room (Mahler) was spacious and clean with a... More

At E299 per night one would expect a certain level of luxury. You will not find it here. The location is great, but charging it's guests E1 for a E0.50 Nespresso pod is an insult. In addition, our shower flooded each time we used it and the towels were stained. Would be a good value at half the price we... More

The hotel is located on a street only minutes away from the major shopping area and just a few steps from the cathedral. We stayed in one of the apartments and if I were to stay here again, I would upgrade to a suite. The apartment was fine but it felt dark and the bathroom was very small with little... More
