We stayed at l'Hotel Particulier for three nights in early September 2014, in a one-bedroom apartment. The apartment was on the second floor, and we were permitted to use a small lift to bring our bags up to the room, but thereafter we had to use the stairs by our room (not a problem for us, but worth noting for... Wonderful stay in this hotel/apartment style accommodation. More space than we knew what to do with and the availability of a kitchenette, fridge and kitchen utensils means you can enjoy the many local foods in the comfort of your own space. Great location and walkable to most attractions and surrounded by many good restaurants. Supermarket just around the corner and... More

This is a great centrally located hotel. We were taking the Viking Chateaux, Rivers and Wine cruise and arrived at Bordeaux airport three days prior to embarking. Easy transportation from the airport to the hotel. Took the liane 1 bus to Place Gambetta where we had a short walk to L'Hotel Particulier. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and spoke... More

Thus was a fantastic hotel in Bordeaux we loved it and wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely go back. The owners were great and so helpful. Loved our room with the kitchenette, the breakfast and the courtyard were we could relax, have some fabulous cheese and wine. Thank you.

His old world charm bed and breakfast has everything. Location, lovely helpful staff, wine shop on site centrally located near Hotel e Ville and cathedral. The rooms are generous more like an apartment with kitchen, modern bathroom and very comfortable bedding. It is also very secure. There is a lovely open air courtyard in the centre of the building where... More

Apartment style hotel. Old building, but modern interior. Room has enough space, so very comfortable to stay. 2 mins from the Cathedral, so quiet and very close to the centre. Convenient to go anywhere. Also, staffs are very kind and nice.

We went for the Biannual Wine Festival held along the bank of the river. Bordeaux was alive and vibrant well into the night. The wine festival was fantastic - well worth the trip. There were many other things to see and do e.g. the light show and fireworks as well as trying out different foods on the Epicurial - food... More

The hotel is in a great location right near the busy streets with lots of cafes and shopping. The room was a good size and the staff was very friendly. The negatives are there is no AC and there is a decent amount of noise when opening the windows so it can be hard to sleep. Also this led to... More

Great boutique hotel in a wonderful location. The tram runs silently past the front door. The hotel is situated on the edge of Bordeaux's pedestrian heart. Cafés and restaurants/bistros are plentiful close by. The hotel is clean, modern, very secure and has lovely staff! Oh, and breakfast is a must, if only to sit in the lovely dining room. Highly...
