Apartment style hotel. Old building, but modern interior. Room has enough space, so very comfortable to stay. 2 mins from the Cathedral, so quiet and very close to the centre. Convenient to go anywhere. Also, staffs are very kind and nice.

We went for the Biannual Wine Festival held along the bank of the river. Bordeaux was alive and vibrant well into the night. The wine festival was fantastic - well worth the trip. There were many other things to see and do e.g. the light show and fireworks as well as trying out different foods on the Epicurial - food... More

a very central converted house, or mansion, around a lovely quiet courtyard, quirky, big rooms, we were in the cheapest ground floor room and its BIG with kitchen, and a door with an inner door so its really quiet. much better than one of the chains and probably cheaper. great breakfast, helpful staff, i asked the receptionist if she'd print... The hotel is in a great location right near the busy streets with lots of cafes and shopping. The room was a good size and the staff was very friendly. The negatives are there is no AC and there is a decent amount of noise when opening the windows so it can be hard to sleep. Also this led to... More

Great boutique hotel in a wonderful location. The tram runs silently past the front door. The hotel is situated on the edge of Bordeaux's pedestrian heart. Cafés and restaurants/bistros are plentiful close by. The hotel is clean, modern, very secure and has lovely staff! Oh, and breakfast is a must, if only to sit in the lovely dining room. Highly... This is not my first time in Bordeaux, but this hidden gem brought me an unexpected experience of Bordeaux. Unfortunately we stayed for 1 night as we couldn't extend our stay with another hotel, though I found this unfortunate should be regarded this other way round. Location: very close to the cathedral and tram station Gambetta, meaning it is just... More

It was about 20 years ago when I used to take groups of teenage Americans around Europe that I had the opportunity for an interview in London with a big travel company. I did pretty well being questioned about France and Germany and then a focused question came to me about Bordeaux. I should have said that I've never been... More

Conveniently located near the main shopping belt of rue Catherine and near main tourist attractions. Everywhere in Bordeaux is walkable from here. The spacious and airy apartments are a great find! Highly recommend it. Try to get a room facing the garden otherwise the trams may wake up light sleepers.

I enjoy the comfortable style and ambience of L'Hotel Particulier with a tea salon at reception and wine corner nearby at the entrance to the courtyard. My room (€125) was on the first floor overlooking the quiet, private courtyard, clean crisp bed linen, comfortable bed, no odours, useful kitchen, well designed shower alcove and separate toilet. I enjoyed my stay... More

We stayed 4 nights in the apartment. Fantastic position, 100m to the cathedral ,50m to Monoprix supermarket . Tram runs outside front door. Very quiet inside hotel, room faced pleasant internal courtyard - great for a glass in the evening. No 1 bus stop 200m away, back to the airport for 1.40 euro fare. Room cleaned, rubbish emptied daily, new... More
