5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013 NEW

My friend and I stayed at this hotel after reading the Trip Advisor reviews. It is indeed a little gem hidden away right on the tram route in the centre of Bordeaux and close to the whole of the city centre. The receptionist spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The room was well appointed and well equipped (but take... More

The hotel was absolutely charming. It was thoroughly relaxing which is what we needed. The staff were there if we needed them but it felt as though we were the only guests. The suite was charmingly designed with many of the original design features remaining. It was very comfortable and had touches of luxury. A 'little gem' which we will... More

We stayed for three nights in this hotel and wished we'd booked for longer. We had a room on the ground floor, off from the courtyard (which is great place to relax if you want to escape from the heat of the day for a little while). Couldn't really ask for more from the room which was large and well... More

We stayed in the ground door apartment. The room was large with nice bathroom, kitchenette, and dinig table. Despite being on the ground floor, the room is very quiet as the whole hotel is set into a lovely courtyard away from the street....just one block from the cathedral. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Our only minor complaint... More

We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel, it felt as if we were living in a french style home but yet with modern touches. We stayed at the Superior Suite and it was very spacious, we had extra space for everything. The bed was extremely comfortable, I loved the organic herbal products they used in the shower. The... I stayed here overnight in a single room. It was very nicely appointed - very modern decor. The bed was extremely comfortable. Contrary to other reviews I did not find the room too small, and the shower was just fine. The room was located right off the stairs, so you do have to pay attention to avoid missteps and falling... My wife and I first visited L’Hotel Particulier in January and were delighted with the warmth of the welcome and hospitality from Alizee and Thomas. The hotel is a beautifully and recently renovated town house. Our suite was spacious and extremely comfortable with many retained period features. I had to return to Bordeaux, 2 weeks ago, for an operation following... More

The hotel could not be better placed, within a very short walk of the centre of Bordeaux, but was also very quiet. The staff could not be more helpful, just ask, and of course they speak excellent English, putting my French to shame. A well-run establishment we would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed here for three days early February 2013 and loved it. For two nights we were in a ground floor studio, and the last night in a 3rd floor room, both of which were very large rooms. The hotel is in a great location, beautifully appointed, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. A real French experience and given... More

This hotel is very good value and has character in the old part of Bordeaux. It is very close to the Cathedral and a tram runs by the front door. As far as I know all the rooms are in a courtyard section and there is no noise, certainly not in our large room anyway. The rooms are more of... More
