A very basic, uninspiring hotel. Small rooms, with an odd, unpleasant smell! Tiny bathroom with a small shower and no bath. However, it's located superbly for the centre of town near the cathedral. If location and price are the most important things for you then this the hotel for you. If you are expecting more then book somewhere else.

Located a short stroll from the heart of Bordeaux, this hotel was ideal for my needs. In a city that's not known for its cheap accommodation, it was good value for money, although was certainly a no-thrills experience, with the room very basic, although spacious. The bed was huge, although I would have preferred a regular double bed if I... More

A 4 day break in sunny Bordeaux. Hotel is 15 mins from the Bordeaux ground...fantastic atmosphere. Only 15 mins stroll from the centre. Staff fantastic, couldn`t do enough for you. The rooms are small , but adequate for the price. Continental breakfast was great. Shopping center just around the corner too.

We were off to see Julien Clerc and did not want to drive home afterwards. The place is welcoming, comfortable and quiet. We found the hotel a little difficult to locate as there are three ibis in the area. To get to the parking, you need to pass the hotel on your right, take the first right ( which seems... More

OK hotel in a great location. Last week the room I was in was way too hot at night even with the Aircon cranked up to high. I mentioned this to the people on the front desk who suggested that 20+ celcius wasn't too warm, I disagreed, they promised to check it out & if necessary put me in a... More

Restaurant opens 7pm, Great evening dinners we ate here 3 nights, very professional meals are cooked and presented to equal of all the top restaurants. Wine list a little limited, beers on tap or by the bottle. This is also the breakfast room in the mornings. Lovely view out the window to the trams going by after sundown.

We visited Bordeaux on an u16 rugby tour and couldn't fault this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and everything was replenished quickly. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping with only a short walk to the river. Overall we would highly recommend the ibis meriadeck.
