Judging by the number of reviews slating the rooms, I suspect it's one of those cases where "superior" rooms are refurbished, whilst "standard" rooms are not. This hotel is completely forgetable. The location is a little out-of-the-way from the historic centre (about a 20minute walk), which is less then ideal. The lobby and the service were fine.
