AC did not work for two days in a row in the evening, they repaired it, but the staff at reception was horrible! They even asked if we need AC....btw...the windows cannot be opened...so if you suffer from claustrophobia, forget about this hotel! The room maids were great, the cleaning was great and our amenities were always refilled. Great having... More

Comfortable room, comfortable bed, air conditioning, welcoming receptionists, helpful courteous staff. Expensive bar prices and don't stay for breakfast it's cheaper in the cafe bars. Nicely situated almost on a tram stop and near the station St. Jean. Definitely would return. The restaurant was closed during my stay so cannot comment on it.

Arrived, slightly early and sent away by "Marion" came back 6 hours later for a non welcome by "antoine" Hotel standard rooms are effectively IBIS level so suggest that May be a better alternative. 5th floor room plain ugly not appropriate for a couple and actually depressing Fortunately Bordeaux is lovely with charming, warm lovely locals with so much to... I am airline crew. That means I stay in hotels 4 of the 7 days in a week. As always I went to bed after a drink with my colleagues. At 6.30 AM I woke up with a terrible itch. I looked, and my whole body was covered with redness, bumps and rash. I looked under the mattress and there... More

The hotel is not located in a very attractive area, see photo, if you have just arrived and did not yet see how beautiful Bordeaux is, you might think you ended up in the wrong city. I was first placed in a room with a reddish interior, obviously the product from the 90ies. I asked for hangers for my trousers,... More

Easy to get to from the airport for 1.40 Euros by a 35-minute ride on the #1 bus with maybe a 100-m walk added on, this hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from the pedestrian area that defines the old city. It is a bit out of the way in an area that has that 1960's Soviet era concrete... More

Drab, dingy room with grubby carpet and thick dirt on skirting tiles in bathroom. TV remote sticky. Chipped bath. Poor lighting. Dated and depressing. By contrast, breakfast area quite good. Air conditioner did not work and it was very uncomfortable in the room.

Okay, the architecture leaves a lot to be desired - think early 80's ugly concrete a la Barbican in London and the location is just a bit further from the historic center... But the hotel did make up for that with modern, adequate, quiet rooms with a super comfy bed. I looked into some open rooms that were being cleaned... More

First impression on arriving at night was not great: this hotel is located in a Barbican-style 60s monolithic concrete commercial zone, yuk. Our room was Ok sized with a huge bathroom, decor was a bit generic and tired (faded cinema posters on one wall but no other sign of any attempt at personality so a bit weird) but they've tried...
