We stayed in the Blue Lodge for 3 nights in August 2014 and were very impressed. Valerie is a very warm, friendly and helpful host. The breakfast was excellent. Breakfasts included various fresh breads & jams, fruits, coffee and juices every morning. On top of this, beautiful treats such as fresh honey cake or canale's were also provided. Our breakfast... We loved our stay in La Maison Bleu in July - just three weeks ago. The welcome from Valerie was warm and genuine and her advice re things not to miss in Bordeaux was great. There is a charm about the house - the furniture and decor in the bedroom, sitting/dining room and the garden were all so tasteful and... More

Breakfasts were very tasteful... More

Stayed in June for 5 nights, having decided to 'go native' and forego the usual international hotel chains. Valérie speaks very good English which helped get passed my limited French vocabulary and Scottish accent! She gave us a warm welcome and has loads of advice to help your stay. Breakfasts were great; fresh local bread and croissants and a changing... More

Valerie's B&B is charming, and located on a quiet street. It is close to the tram, which is easy to navigate. Our room was beautifully decorated, the bed was comfortable, the tea and coffe in the room appreciated . The best part of our stay was anticipating what fresh wonder Valerie would present at breakfast . She was also helpful... More

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We had a lovely stay and an amazing breakfast to wake up to. The proximity to the city centre was great, close enough to walk. Valerie was a gracious host always prepared to help with directions/suggestions. Ryann, Roberto & Clair
