I thought I had booked this hotel last week for one night, gave the hostess Leena all of my card details to guarantee the booking and pay the deposit, only for her to come back to me the next day to say she has taken a 4 day booking over mine and she couldn't continue with the reservation. How rude?... More

My wife and I were passing through Bordeaux and stayed a night at La Villa Chaleemar, and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Our room was clean, stylish, comfortable, and private, plus we had easy access to the lovely rooftop patio. Our hostess, Leena, could not have been more accommodating and friendly (even her children were great...and... More

We are from Montreal and rarely stay in B&B's. we were pleasantly surprised with La villa Chaleemar. Fresh new look, clean, very comfortable beds, warm atmosphere and the owner Leena is the best part. Friendly, helpful and speaks English or French to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast was delightful. No complaints. Only good things to say. The Internet was reliable,... More

The location is perfect. The property situated in a quiet street yet it is only 10 minutes walk to some local hang out and good restaurants. The owner Leena speak perfect English which make us communicate to her easily. The place is so clean, I look up the ceiling and don't see any spider web at all. The size of... More

Ten minute walk from cultural centre, but in quiet location with free street parking. Superb accommodation, great breakfast and charming, English speaking hostess. Zen background music characterises contemporary decor and very restful atmosphere.

Free on-street parking nearby and indeed in nearby streets if you wish--can't be bad! The outside looks like many French city houses---not promising! But the inside is excellent. Our room--one just off the lower inner "inside/outside" terrace could not really have been smaller (you need to walk sideways to get round the large bed) but it had everything and the... More

A haven from the bustle of Bordeaux. Leena was very friendly and knowledgeable about what to see in the area. Fabulous breakfasts eaten around a large table in a gorgeous dining room. A roof top patio is there to be enjoyed in good weather.

after the first sight around when you enter the bb, you immediately expect a lot. and the promise is maintained: the quality and beauty of the house, the service you get and they way you live bordeaux from there confirm your very first excellent feeling. the house is in an extremely quiet and peaceful district, with a lot of original... My husband and I booked an overnight stay with Leena and her husband at Villa Chaleemar on our way down to a gite in the Lot-et-Garonne. Maybe not the most direct route but we wanted to see Bordeaux! Well, it was worth it - an elegant, beautiful city and a very chic B&B with lovely hosts. The house is gorgeous... More

We stayed at La Villa Chaleemar for 4 nights in July 2013 and really enjoyed our stay. The B&B is very tastefully decorated, impeccably clean and very comfortable. Leena was very friendly and helpful. We loved the assortments of jams with our freshly baked croissant and coffee every morning. Our room was small but the bathroom was large and the... More
