If you're simply looking for a place to rest your head in Bordeaux you've come to the right place. Situated a two minute walk from the St Jean central station Camponile is a great base to explore the city. The rooms are basic but functional. They all contain TV's and tea and coffee making facilities. The shower pressure was decent... More

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in October. The staff were very accommodating, the room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was very convenient to the train station and we were able to get to Bordeaux centre with a short trip on the tram. We were also surprised at how quiet it was despite... More

This is a rather nice mid range hotel situated within 2/3 minutes walk, and within sight of Gare St Jean railway station and bus/tram stops. My room was large and airy with good natural and artificial lighting, aircon, strong free Wifi (which needed login every time), lovely bed and excellent shower. Limited storage for clothes. The staff were friendly and... More

This hotel has nice rooms, well equipped and nicely decorated (if you like green colour). Tea/coffee amenities made my stay even more comfortable. Bathroom with shower, hairdrier. Enough space for clothes if you stay 2-3 days, may become more difficult if you stay longer. I had breakfast outside, so I can not judge. It is located very close to the... More

It was an easy walk two blocks from the main train station in Bordeaux. The staff was helpful with our check-in and gave us tips on how to find a good restaurant. The room was very comfortable, great bed. I actually loved the apple green color touches.

Excellent hotel in great location with lovely clean rooms and all modern amenities. Great Shower. Unfortunately it lost one star because of the attitude of some staff. The bar closed at 9.00pm at night with some exceptions depending on who was on duty. You may have been able to get a drink or you may not - it was bit... More

We stayed for just one night enroute from San Sabastian to Paris. Excellent location. Easy to get into the centre of Bordeaux from the hotel. The staff at the hotel are very professional, quick check in and check out. On our 8 week European holiday this was the only hotel where we had tea/coffee making facilities - that was such... More

We stayed at the Campanile 2 nights, very good location close to the train station if you are arriving by train, by car its a bit more awkward so ensure you have good directions and satnav is up-to-date! The hotel is new with the usual rooms you would expect in this hotel chain but oh such lovely comfy bed and... More

We stayed only one night. It is just at the right hand side of the train station, with 5-min walking distance. Polite and nice staff, good breakfast you could eat as many as you can. The staff even came and warned us the last 10 min before the buffet closed. Simple twin bed room with 2 very normal size single... More

We only really had a few hours staying in this hotel, but it was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was pretty small but being so close to the train station and the tram it was great. Bit of a walk to the central shopping area but the tram is cheap and often if youre feeling... More
