Exactly what you'd expect - clean nice room and very cool bathroom, not expensive for what it is, close to the train station, friendly and professional staff... I had what I expected and that's reassuring! :-)

We recently stayed one night at this Campanile. We were pleasantly surprised by what we found - it's quiet (even though it's adjacent to the train station) and exceptionally clean. Service was professional. The location was fine for one night (about a 15 - 20 minute walk into the centre of the city). We had a room facing the back... More

The main selling point of this hotel is that it’s a few blocks from Gare Saint-Jean, which is also where the airport bus goes. The only reason to stay here is if you’re overnighting as the area has nothing of interest. If you’re staying longer, get a place in the old town. The hotel itself is clean and modern, but... More

Lots of business types staying here, I guess because of its closeness to the station. It's functional and modern, with a car park underneath. About 15 minutes walk into the centre of Bordeaux. Nothing to complain about.

Was extremely hard to find even though we knew it was close to the station. Handy for the station but not what I would call town centre as this was a good 30 minutes walk away. Thought the cost of €100 was expensive for a budget hotel. We have stayed in better hotels on this trip that cost much less.... More

The hotel is conveniently located for the train station. This is super handy when you arrive and leave as the airport 'Jet bus' arrives/ leaves from there every hour (just over 7€ one way). It was also handy for a day trip we did by train to Arcachon beach town. Other than that we would walk into the main areas.... More

If you're simply looking for a place to rest your head in Bordeaux you've come to the right place. Situated a two minute walk from the St Jean central station Camponile is a great base to explore the city. The rooms are basic but functional. They all contain TV's and tea and coffee making facilities. The shower pressure was decent... More

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in October. The staff were very accommodating, the room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was very convenient to the train station and we were able to get to Bordeaux centre with a short trip on the tram. We were also surprised at how quiet it was despite... More

This is a rather nice mid range hotel situated within 2/3 minutes walk, and within sight of Gare St Jean railway station and bus/tram stops. My room was large and airy with good natural and artificial lighting, aircon, strong free Wifi (which needed login every time), lovely bed and excellent shower. Limited storage for clothes. The staff were friendly and... More

This hotel has nice rooms, well equipped and nicely decorated (if you like green colour). Tea/coffee amenities made my stay even more comfortable. Bathroom with shower, hairdrier. Enough space for clothes if you stay 2-3 days, may become more difficult if you stay longer. I had breakfast outside, so I can not judge. It is located very close to the... More
