This was a lovely place for us to spend a couple of nights during a stressful time. If you want an impersonal hotel with extras like a trouser press, this is not for you! As everyone has said, the breakfasts were lavish - don't attempt lunch. Daniel is very helpful and amusing and obviously loves this special house - called... More

We had a lovely time at this very small boutique hotel. The breakfast was beyond wonderful. I only wish we had stayed here more than one night. Daniel gave us a tour of the property, and we learned quite a bit about the history of Bourdeaux. I cannot recommend this hotel high enough

We had a wonderful stay at Le Petit Labottiere. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and it is such a unique experience staying in a historical monument. The breakfast was stunning - one of the best we've ever had. It is in a great location, really close to all the main sites. Daniel (the owner) was extremely helpful with suggestions both... More

I wish all accommodations could be like this. Before we arrived Daniel was extremely helpful with wine tour recommendations (Maryse's tour was great) and restaurant suggestions. His home is a work of art, where he and his parents lovingly restored it to its natural beauty. Our room was spacious, stocked each day with fruit, water, juice and yogurt. Only suggestion... More

This 18th century townhouse, loving restored and furnished to the original state is tucked away on short quiet street. Daniel welcomes guests to his little piece of Bordeaux history with a warm smile and lots of wonderful information, recommendations, and directions. On a visit with our son and daughter-in-law we were given the family rooms on the third floor of... More

On honeymoon and loved Bordeaux. Great help by Daniel for his warmth, caring for the city, and his small but wonderful hotel that was perfectly situated for walking everywhere. The breakfasts could be lunch and dinner as well and laid out so beautifully you'd think you were royalty. Great stay.

We would happily stay here again if ever in Bordeaux. Daniel is very charming, polite and helpful. Daniel provides his phone number but as we were already travelling and did not carry a cell phone, we used the intercom at the entrance. His father answered and does not speak English. Mention Daniel's name and he will contact him unless you... More

A beautiful and you can tell LOVINGLY restored Estate home and even better VERY CONVENIENT walking access to all the sites in downtown bordeaux. Our visit to Bordeaux included 2 nights at Petit Hotel Labottiere near the large public garden in downtown Bordeaux. Our host Daniel, the son of the owners, went out of his way to make us welcome and comfortable. He helped us get our car parked in their garage across the street, helped us get our luggage up to our room... More

The first hint that this was going to be a special stay was that a kilometer away we were seeing official road signs directing us to the Petit Hotel. Considering that there is nothing like that for any of the big commercial hotels of Bordeaux, something definitely noteworthy was in store for us. While this place has the word "Hotel"... More
