PUlling up to this hotel and staying here was a wonderful introduction to the city of Bordeaux. A beautiful and you can tell LOVINGLY restored Estate home and even better VERY CONVENIENT walking access to all the sites in downtown bordeaux. There were no other guests when we stayed so we felt like it was our private Chateau complete with... More

Our visit to Bordeaux included 2 nights at Petit Hotel Labottiere near the large public garden in downtown Bordeaux. Our host Daniel, the son of the owners, went out of his way to make us welcome and comfortable. He helped us get our car parked in their garage across the street, helped us get our luggage up to our room... More

The first hint that this was going to be a special stay was that a kilometer away we were seeing official road signs directing us to the Petit Hotel. Considering that there is nothing like that for any of the big commercial hotels of Bordeaux, something definitely noteworthy was in store for us. While this place has the word "Hotel"... More

very pretty hotel at a convenient location (about 10min walk from town center). Host (danny) was super friendly, he gave us a tour of the historical hotel, explaining every detail as if it was his first time showing his guests around. Decoration of the hotel & room was perfect. Just when we couldnt' think it could be better, breakfast in... More

Despite some poor weather we a fantastic stay in Bordeaux and thoroughly enjoyed staying at le Petit Hotel Labottiere. Daniel was the perfect host and gave us a great tour of the amazing house - so very interesting and absolutely beautiful. If you like 18th century grace, calm, furnishings and proportions, stay here. This is a fantastic place to stay, full of history, with incredible - and incredibly large - breakfasts, with a thoroughly calm, welcoming and warm ambience. Daniel, the charming and well educated proprietor, knows Bordeaux well and gives excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to see. Negatives: this... More

Lovely accommodation, great service, and the most wonderful breakfasts anyone can imagine. But try to set aside time to talk with Daniel Korber the owner. Super-nice multilingual guy who not only shares the history of this special property, but also provides great insight into the texture of life in Bordeaux and in France. We definitely recommend this adorable hotel in Bordeaux! From the moment we arrived, Daniel was wonderfully helpful, informative, friendly, and funny. You can tell that he loves Bordeaux (he was astonished at how little time we would have to explore the city) and is very knowledgeable. We recently spent three enjoyable days at the Petit Hotel Labottiere in Bordeaux. Situated near the Public Gardens of Bordeaux and a short 10 minute walk to the center of town, this 18th century home was purchased by the Korber family in the 1960s and they spent the better part of their lifetime restoring the property to its original beauty... In the heart of Bordeaux: a unique and precious witness the art of living in the XVIIIth century.
