Not the best Ibis Hotel we've stayed in: our sons had a cramped and slightly disappointing room on the noisier street side, though our room overlooked the river, and was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Bayonne centre just a short walk along the riverside, and is recommended; a historic town with some super shops, which is well worth a visit.

Stayed here 3 nights in August. Arrived by train, hotel was approximately a 600m walk from the station. Quick and easy check-in upon arrival, pleasant reception staff who spoke good English. Bedroom was small but adequate and was reasonably equipped for a short stay, there is a bit of traffic noise on the front of the hotel but not excessive.... More

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and a nice little bar/restaurant. It's also within walking distance of the centre of the city despite having great access to the motorway. Its noticeable that it is part of a chain however it does retain a degree of character. All in all its definitely good value for money.

Good budget choice. Modern, funcional, bright furnishings. Small but adequate double room. Ten minutes' (lovely, riverside) walk to downtown. Private parking. Sparse, but pleasant room. Friendly staff. Good place to stop between Bilbao and Bordeaux.

The hotel is centrally located. Arriving late it was still possible to get something to eat in the lobby bar after most restaurants had closed. Friendly staff. Private parking. The rooms are quite small but sufficient for a short stay.

Spent a weekend recently at this well-run Ibis hotel, with a view over the river. Street parking nearby is difficult, but there is secure, private parking attached to the hotel at a cost of 9 euros per day. Staff were very efficient and helpful. Off the breakfast area there was a pretty garden with outdoor seating for breakfast or drinks,... More

Staying at this Ibis hotel made our stay in Bayonne far more enjoyable. Easy to access from the motorway yet centrally located. Shops, restaurants and the city center just a short walk away, with a great river view. The hotel is fully renovated and looks great; also a groovy bar! Friendly and professional staff make the experience even better. Onsite... More
