Lovely, small hotel with lots of atmosphere and charm. Helpful and friendly staff. Perfect location. From the room we could see the cathedral and the typical french buildings surroinding it. Despite the central location, the streets around the hotel did not feel too busy.

It is a hotel with the best location! The nice friendly check in will surprise even the most sophisticated traveler. Rooms are clean and neat. Mine had a view of the Church. The chimes are a nice soothing sound. The breakfast is a smasher. Local products mixed in with the French touch. Lovely coffee and ambiance. One would just want... More

This hotel is located near the Cathedral. In fact, you can see the side facade of the cathedral from many of the hotel's rooms. Consequently, it is also near from the main touristic points. There is no private parking, so you must leave your car in one of the parkings nearby (and there are some a few blocks away). The... More

For a winter stay it was ideal as the title says. Pretty good value with an excellent breakfast. Good service as we were well looked after. Our room was smallish but fine, with a view of part of the cathedral. There was a decent sized bathroom (with bath). The only real disturbance was other guests (thoughtlessly) occasionally slamming their doors... More

Hotel Suisse is a lovely place in the heart of old Strasbourg. If you're looking for alsacian spirit and high level of service, this hotel is for you. And perhaps, you could have the chance to have a patisery lesson with the famous Chef Christophe Felder the sunday morning. Of course, it's not a modern one so don't expect modern... More

If you plan -like me- to visit Strasbourg, by feet, alone or with family, I hardly recommend the Hotel Suisse for your stay. Our room was very nice, with good matress in an alsacian traditional craft style. A bit old but clean, the room and atmosphere will transport you from time to time with the view to the Cathedral which... More

I lived in single room. It's very small. The smallest room I have ever lived. I can hardly turn around in the bathroom. I don't have much room to move around in my room. The floor of my room has a broken hole in front of the door, so it is not even and cracked. The elevator is old and... More

Hotel Suisse is a lovely small old hotel which is located in the best possible place in Strasbourg, right in the center near the Cathedral, but, also on a very quiet street. We saw ithe hotel when we were there in the summer. When I had peeped through the window, I loved the warm atmosphere of the little cafe/breakfast room... More

I've been meaning to thank this lovely cafe-cum-hotel for a while now. We were stuck in Strasbourg on a coach trip wandering about with no idea where we were, and coming across this well-positioned corner cafe was a lifesaver. The staff were friendly, spoke English, and even gave us directions to a few bakeries and attractions we wanted to visit... More

Stayed here for 3 nights as a tourist. Hotel is very old with lots of character. The rooms are small but clean and warm. Breakfast is typical Alsace affair. Hotel is very well situated at the back of the Cathedral but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff are extremely helpful. Strasbourg is truly beautiful and would stay at... More
