The heritage behind this hotel will speak for itself , wonderful people, food, service. Very friendly. Rooms are large in size equipped with the latest technology. The place is really quite so if you're after chilling out then this is it. If you're in the area then you're come to the right place. Check out the pictures attached, they'll speak for... More

We stayed here for a night on our way to Munich. Although not easy to find, we received a lovely welcome, the room was fantastic full of character, but comfortable and with a huge bathroom. Heartily recommended.

We stayed at this charming hotel for two nights. We had a spacious room with a queen bed and a winding staircase that led to a small attic room with two twin beds for the children. The bathroom had both a tub and a shower and was well appointed. The hotel is in a great location and I loved all... More

I can understand why this hotel would be difficult for those who are driving, since it is located near Petite France in what is pretty much a pedestrian area, and there is space for one car in their entry. Thankfully, we arrived by train and were able to walk with our luggage from the gare, about 15 minutes. Another treasure... More

This hotel is in a very good location, but did not get everything quite right for us. On arrival we reached the bollard to the old town as instructed and phoned the hotel for the password, this all worked well and we were in the old town, but where to go next? We were not given any instructions and there... More

A wonderful hotel in the heart of old Strasbourg! Apart from an excellent location, the hotel boasts truly professional service, beautifully decorated rooms, and last but not least, a spa with both Finnish and Turkish sauna (hamam), jacuzzi and a cold water pool. We (a family with two boys aged 5 years and 9 months) stayed in a suite, which... More

On our recent visit, we had a top-floor room at Le Bouclier d'Or and it was lovely. During our visit, there were two excellent concerts in the courtyard and, although all of the seats were filled, we had a perfect position with which to enjoy the concerts--our room which over looked the courtyard. The personnel were friendly and very helpful.... More

This Hotel was picked without mayor expectations and it turned out as one of the best during our trip. It is a little hard to find as it is in the middle of a pedestrian zone. However, that said, it is conveniently located to explore Strasbourg in every direction. Great for strolls through the shopping areas, the Cathedral and tons... More

The location of this beautiful hotel is perfectly in the center of Petite France, but also an easy 10 minute walk to the cathedral and many options for restaurants. The breakfast is worth the extra cost and is served in room, on the terrace or in the lovely dining room. Our rooms (a comfort double beside a superior twin) were... More

If you want to save money, or stay in a typical chain hotel, don't book at this property. This hotel is the real thing. Unique, charming, and well located this is an authentic experience. The Alsatian rooms are the real deal, the breakfast (costs extra) is first rate, the staff (with one exception) are warm and welcoming. I love Strasbourg,... More
