Read the negative reviews of this hotel and unless you are particularly finicky I suggest you ignore them. As has already been stated this hotel is perfectly located opposite the cathedral on the main square. Lots of restaurants close by all serving more or less the same food at varying prices. Also the Tourist Office is just across the road.... More

We had reserved 3 rooms at once (for a Saturday evening stay). We were put in the separate residence building so that we could all be together. The rooms were very spacious and well kept and had air conditioners, which really helped cool off the rooms. These rooms are a bit larger than the ones in the main hotel, so... More

This is a medieval building in the main square of Strasbourg. We had a room which was overlooking the Cathedral. This came with the attendant sounds from the square of people shouting, cafe noise and the sound of church bells. The double glazing cut out a great deal of noise though, and the air conditioning was very welcome in the... More

The location is amazing. Small but very nice rooms. The breakfast was very good. Beautiful courtyard with an adjacent restaurant is a nice bonus. Staff were very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Great city to visit.

This place is charming with very friendly staff. Maybe some little things are a bit outdated but the location couldn't be better if you go for the city centre. Needed to laugh about people complaining about the bells being so loud. Well, if you check in right next to a giant cathedral, that might happen. Our room was on the... More

This might not be you. Here's the deal: if you are an experienced traveler you know this already. Imagine a hotel where the owner has sucked every bit of capital out of a business because it is well-located. This is it. I've see the charming comments and feel they are too generous. Our room opened to a courtyard restaurant and... More

Rooms: simple, a little old but ok vs. price (85 Euro). Smelled a little old so we opened the window for some hours. Location: yes, it is in the city centre next to the cathedral means you cannot sleep as of 6 am because the bells are ringing soooo loud all 30 min!!! Service: nice

Excellent value for money!! The location for hotel is very much in city center. All resturants and bars are easily accessible. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I stayed here for 5 nights and it was pleasure. The staff is very friendly.

This hotel is located in front of two famous landmarks, Strasbourg's Notre Dame Cathedral and Kammelzerhaus. Likewise, all other landmarks and shops are within comfortable walking distance. The hotel's rooms (we booked two rooms) are nice and clean with a cute view of the cathdral. The breakfast, 14 euros/pax, was just okay. the hotel staff were nice and helpful. All... More

Location is excellent, but since the cathedral is so unbelievably close, you hear the churchbells quite good and they ring every 15 min. They start at 7 am and stop at some point during night. Our room was quite small but clean and comfortable. Brakfast was really good. I would recommend the hotel, it is perfect for a city trip!
